Good morning, y’all It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
Our color challenge led me to using Poppy Parade (one of my fave “reds”) as my main color and so…I pulled out some new Timeless Christmas DSP and the almost-too-obvious…new Santa’s Hat stamp set – both coming on 1 Sept in the new catalog – to make a cute Christmas card for you! Take a look-see:
Good morning and happy Tuesday, y’all! Hope your week is going well. We had a good visit with our friends yesterday – the kids had fun on the four-wheelers and did a little fishing (even caught a few!) and Jennifer and I caught up – did some cooking together and… made a witch’s hat!
That’s right – I opened up the box with the new Witchy Whimsy Hat Kitinside and we sat down and put it together. It’s super super cute!

Today’s card is a Halloween card – I know. I wasn’t going to do more Halloween cards and then I saw the Design a Tag stamp set – coming new in the Sep-Dec 2026 Catalog on 1 Sept. It’s got fun little sentiments – and a super cute witch’s hat and….I had to use it! So I combined it with the Tile Garden die set – also coming new in the new catalog and some Frightfully Fun DSP (available right now!). Take a look-see:
Happy Half-way-thru the weekend, y’all! Hope it’s going well! Our company will arrive today and since I didn’t get as much cleaning done yesterday as I’d planned – you know what I’ll be doing this morning!! LOL
For today’s card, I went back to one of the very first techniques I used to make a card to share on this blog. It’s called Triple Time Stamping – and it’s super easy but looks totally cool! This one I did using the new Painted Pumpkins bundle – with the cool masks! – and the new Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder – all of which are coming on 1 Sept in the new catalog. Take a look-see:
I started with three pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock that I stacked up on my work surface – securing them together with some re-positionable tape runner (that I got on Amazon and is really handy!).
At the bottom of the smallest – middle – panel, I stamped the sentiment from Painted Pumpkins (available 1 Sept) in Secret Sea Ink.
Using both of the pumpkin stamps in the set, I stamped all over in Secret Sea ink.
Then I used the masks and Small Blending Brushes to color the pumpkins.
– Mask 1: Flirty Flamingo
– Mask 2: Timid Tiger
– Mask 3: Golden Glow
I stamped the leaf image all over in Pool Party ink.
I pulled the small sentiment panel off and embossed the other two – still stacked – in the new Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder (coming 1 Sept in the new catalog).
I adhered each of the panels to their Secret Sea mat using Liquid Glue. Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the middle panel to the largest.
Then I used the die in the Painted Pumpkins set to cut out four Pool Party leaves. I adhered them to the middle panel with Liquid Glue.
I tied a bow from two lengths of Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I added the sentiment panel with double-stacked Black Stampin’ Dimensionals – added some Golden Glow Painted Patch Dots (in the Suite and available on 1 Sept) and the card front was done.
For the inside, I stamped a second Painted Pumpkins sentiment – and a couple of pumpkins in the corner – in Secret Sea ink. I used the masks again to color the pumpkins. Then I added a few more of the Golden Glow Painted Patch Dots.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pool Party card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Painted Pumpkins on the front…
…and a piece of the Painted Patch DSP (available on 1 Sept) on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – the more I play with all the pieces and parts of the Painted Pumpkins bundle – the more I love it! Stamped images – sentiments – perfect masks for coloring – and amazing die cuts – ALL make for so many possibilities for your projects! And, of course, the colors in the coordinating Painted Patch DSP are a wonderful place to start (and you CAN cut out a bunch of pretty pumpkins using the dies in the set – BOOM!).

Today’s card is the result of a question on my Monday Zoom the Craftroom. One of my friends wondered how a Hot Foiled image would do if it was dry embossed. Naturally, I figured the best answer was to…do one! So – I hot foiled a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock with the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Die and then embossed it in the Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder (a new goody available to customers on 1 Sept!). It worked – perfectly! I hated to waste the panel, though – so…I pulled out the All Aflutter bundle and the Spotlight on Naturedies and made a card! Take a look-see:

Happy half-way-thru-the-weekend, y’all! Are you staying cool? We’re trying. Wayne is working outside – thank goodness for air conditioned cabs on the equipment! But…the doggo’s and I are keeping our forays out into the heat to what is absolutely un-avoidable! Feeding the pony. Occasional short trips out for…well. You know. And that’s about it! It’s stupid hot!
My card today will make you think of cool forests and deep shadows – thanks to the gorgeous Moonlit Flora DSP. Some flitting GOLDEN butterflies – from the new Butterfly Flight Hot Foil bundle – are shimmery bits of light in the shadow. Take a look-see:
