Good morning and happy Friday! Hope your week has gone well and that the weekend is looking promising! We’re whittling down the “we gotta….” list to be ready to go on Tuesday! I got my hair cut today and we both got our new glasses. Check and check! Oh! And I found steel cut oats at the Sprouts WAAAY up on the other side of Atlanta near my hair spot! Yeah!
No – that has nothing to do with us leaving – I just thought you’d want to know! 😂😂😂
My card today is super easy and super gorgeous thanks to the new Gorgeously Made bundle and the stunning Masterfully Made DSP! Take a look-see:
Good morning and happy Monday! Do you realize there’s only ONE week left to pick up those last minute Last Chance Sale goodies?? Yup – on 1 May – the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog AND the Jan – Apr 2023 Mini Catalog will be in the history books! So…don’t miss out!
My card today has nothing to do with EITHER of those catalogs! 😂😂😂. I’m looking ahead again to what comes NEXT! On 2 May, you’ll be able to pick up the new Fresh as a Daisy DSP – I’m actually fixin’ to buy my SECOND pack of it already!! Love it so much! You can also get the pretty new Seasonal Branches set. Take a look-see:
Good morning – again! I’ve got a second card for you today, cuz…I was really honored to be selected as a Guest Designer over on one of my fave challenges – the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge! So…if you were here looking for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop and the card I shared for IT – here ’tis! 🙂
The elements of the challenge worked well for a sympathy card I had in my head, so…I pulled out the Mountain Air stamp set from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and then used the cool Aspen Tree Dies, with a Very Best Occasionssentiment, to complete the card. Take a look-see:
Good morning on this, the last day in May! Wow – can you even believe it?!? So…today ALSO heralds the end of the amazing In Color Starter Kit Promotion!! If you’ve been waiting – now’s the time to pull the trigger! You’ve got until 11:50pm MOUNTAIN TIME! tonight! Fair warning – I will NOT be up at that time to help if you’ve got an issue so…you know. Maybe do it before I go to bed?!? 😉
My card for today features a few of the new 2022-2024 In Colors, the pretty Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ DSP and the sweet Speedy Recovery stamp set. This is one of those flyover sets you’ve heard me talk about – easy to miss! But…if you like having a solid (and pretty!) “get well soon” option in your tool chest – then give this one a look-see!
Good morning, y’all and happy Friday! We’re on the cusp of the weekend and I hope you’re making plans to do something fun! We’re building a new garden shed so that’s for sure on the list! And…tending the garden. And – I’ll be doing a little more craft-room tidying. So…it’ll be Monday before we know it!
My card today is a fun fold – and it’s SO easy – and it REALLY showcases one of the most beautiful papers I’ve seen in a long time – and we’ve had heaps and tons of gorgeous papers, haven’t we? This one is called Hues of Happiness and it’ll be available on 3 May with the new 2022-2024 Annual Catalog. And – for the art and sentiments, I tapped the Flowering Rain Boots bundle from the Jan – Jun 2022 Mini Catalog. Take a look-see:
Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
I made a card that we all need in our stash (and sort of hope to never need to send!). I used the Flowering Rain Boots bundle – plus the sweet Gingham Embossing Folder. Take a look-see:
Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table! I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
The sketch this week is a nice and simple one – so I decided to use a big focal sentiment – from the Encircled in Warmth stamp set – and some cozy paper from Heartwarming Hugs. Simple! Take a look-see:
Good morning, y’all – and happy first day of the week!
My card today is one that could be used to send encouragement – sympathy – or just a “hey – I’ve got your six”! It uses the pretty Color & Contour Bundle and some Fresh Freesia paper from the Pansy Petals DSP. Take a look-see:
Happy half-way-thru-the-weekend! Hope it’s going well. Our planting plans were thwarted by rain most of the day on Saturday. And I suspect we’ll be thwarted by eveything-is-soaking-wet-and-muddy today. So…another inside-work day for us, I’m guessing. Bleh. 😉
If you were able to join me yesterday for my Facebook live, I appreciate you spending part of your weekend with me. If not, but you’d like to check it out, here’s the replay on YouTube! 🙂
This card features a sneak peek at the new Beauty of Friendshipstamp set with its bundled Beautiful Trees dies – with the Beauty of the Earth DSP taking center stage! You’ll be able to get all of it starting on 4 May when the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog goes live. Take a look-see:
I started with some of the Beauty of the Earth DSP that I cut for a card front – then I cut a smooth-side circle from the middle using a Layering Circles Die.
I matted the DSP panel on Misty Moonlight and Cinnamon Cider mats using Liquid Glue.
I matted the DSP circle on scallop-edge die cuts – in Misty Moonlight and Cinnamon Cider – from the Layering Circles dies. Then I added it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
The Beautiful Trees dies has two rectangular dies for sentiments. I used the smaller one to cut a wood-grain piece of DSP from the Beauty of the Earth DSP.
I stamped the Beauty of Friendship sentiment in Cajun Craze on a piece of Basic White and cut it with the second rectangle die in the Beautiful Trees dies – then adhered it to the wood rectangle with Liquid Glue.
Now – my trim uses Crumb Cake and White Baker’s Twine from the brand new Baker’s Twine Combo Pack (it has FIVE rolls of twine!!). I cut about 16″ of each – two in Crumb Cake and one in White.
I tied them together in a knot and then braided it. When I got done – I used Glue Dots to adhere the “rope” in a figure-8 loop to the card front.
I added a few double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals right by the loops and used them to adhere my sentiment to the card front – and that was it!
On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Beauty of Friendship sentiment in Cajun Craze to a Basic White panel. In the corner, I stamped the tree trunk image in Early Espresso, added the smaller tree top in Cinnamon Cider (this is SUCH a cool image!). Then I used the little splotches image to stamp all over in Cajun Craze and Misty Moonlight.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Misty Moonlight and Cinnamon Cider mat and then into my Cajun Craze card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Beauty of Friendship tree on the front…
…and more of the wood-grain Beauty of the Earth DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! This Beauty of the Earth suite is so gorgeous – with the watercolor-inspired images in the DSP and the wonderful sentiments and trees in the Beauty of Friendship stamp set. And – I haven’t even really gotten busy with the Beautiful Trees dies!

Good morning! And happy Sunday! I hope you’re having a great weekend – maybe warming up a bit? We had a gorgeous day yesterday and spent much of it getting mulch from the landfill (I know – it’s a glamorous life we lead – don’t be envious!) and getting our two new beds in place. Today I think we have to hit Sam’s to see if we can exchange our mixed-gender Martha Washington asparagus for more all-boy-all-the-time Jersey Giants. See? Glamour glamour! 😉
