My card today is a pretty one – and one that I’m glad to have in my stash. I hate when I NEED this kind of card – but, I DO like thinking that it will bring a smile to someone who might need it! An old family friend recently passed away and I needed a sympathy card, so…I pulled on my thinking cap and spent some time perusing my shelves for the perfect tool. (My Zoom the Craftroom ladies had to spend a little time staring at my back! 🤷♀️ ) I settled on the sweet Ginkgo Branch stamp set and just used it with a little sponging to make a clean, simple and elegant card for a somber need. My card today is a challenge. A personal one. While some folks are put off and intimidated by layers and fussy cutting and bows and bling…I am intimidated by….the single layer card.

The other is coffee. From nuts. Chicory, to be more specific. I am trying to withhold judgment. But….coffee. From…nuts. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ I hope that in a few days I’ll be shaking my head in amusement at myself and buying bags to bring home in the People Mover. One of the many advantages of driving vs flying!
