Good morning good morning! Hope you’re having a great weekend! I actually ventured out of the house to do a little mowing yesterday – not a lot, just some of the spots where Addy was routinely getting her belly tickled on our walks. She’s not a fan of belly tickling – especially when she’s trying to do…the things one does on one’s walks! 😉 She’ll be a lot happier now!
Today’s card is a thumb-my-nose at the heat! I know it’s hard to even think of it – but…Christmas IS coming and it’ll be here before we know it! AND – we have some new Hot Foil goodies – like the gorgeous Twinkling Tidings Hot Foil Bundle and Starry Night Hot Foil Die – that I used on a Christmas card that I hope you’ll put on your list for this year. Happy weekend, y’all! I hope it’s going to be a good one for you! It’s still just stupid hot here. The other day we were at Costco and there was a lady trying on a sweater. Yes – the sweaters and down jackets are out. And, of course, the Halloween stuff. Soon they’ll have the Christmas trees. And it’ll still be a 1000 degrees outside! I need the things on the shelves to at least sort of jive with the outside temps. By the time I’m ready for a sweater – they’ll have the swimsuits on the racks! 🤦♀️

Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! How goes the week – and the DSP and cardstock sale?! I know a bunch of you are taking advantage of that AND of my Embellishment Ordering Special! Yeah!!
Today’s card is the result of a question on my Monday Zoom the Craftroom. One of my friends wondered how a Hot Foiled image would do if it was dry embossed. Naturally, I figured the best answer was to…do one! So – I hot foiled a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock with the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Die and then embossed it in the Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder (a new goody available to customers on 1 Sept!). It worked – perfectly! I hated to waste the panel, though – so…I pulled out the All Aflutter bundle and the Spotlight on Nature dies and made a card! Take a look-see:

Whoo-hoo!! Stampin’ Up! just released the list for this year’s Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays! Alabamians and Puerto Ricans – take note – THIS is YOUR weekend – starting RIGHT NOW!
Thirteen states – plus Puerto Rico! – will have Sales Tax Holidays for school supplies in July and August and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states! According to state statutes, “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes” are eligible. And – this includes select Stampin’ Up! products! BOOM!

Today’s card is another Halloween card – I can’t seem to keep from playing with the Web of Fun set – the die cuts are so much fun! And I’m also really loving the Shimmering Stripes Specialty Paper, too – it’s as perfect for a spider web as it will be for Christmas! Take a look-see:
Happy half-way-thru-the-weekend, y’all! Are you staying cool? We’re trying. Wayne is working outside – thank goodness for air conditioned cabs on the equipment! But…the doggo’s and I are keeping our forays out into the heat to what is absolutely un-avoidable! Feeding the pony. Occasional short trips out for…well. You know. And that’s about it! It’s stupid hot!
My card today will make you think of cool forests and deep shadows – thanks to the gorgeous Moonlit Flora DSP. Some flitting GOLDEN butterflies – from the new Butterfly Flight Hot Foil bundle – are shimmery bits of light in the shadow. Take a look-see:
