Good morning and happy Monday! Hope you had a good weekend and that the week is looking promising! This looks to be a busy one for us – dentist appointments – hair appointments – all the things! I bet you’re all busy, too! 😳
So – it’s good that I have a pretty and easy thank you card that you can make speedy quick – and use up some of those bits of DSP on your desk! I was tidying up from the Fern & Flora fun fold I made the other night and came across a little rectangle of pretty Moonlit Flora DSP. My brain said…I know what you can make with that! So…I did! Take a look-see:
I did a quick video on how to make this card – which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
I was feeling sorta bad about using this DSP and stamp set again so soon but…then I got over it! 😉
I started with the little piece of the DSP – I trimmed it a bit to make it 3″ x 4 3/4″ and then cut it into three 1 1/4″ strips – each 1 1/4″ x 3″. As I was cutting, I kept the strips in order so that the pretty little “scene” remained intact.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the strips to a 3 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Berry Burst cardstock.
I adhered the top and bottom strips first, then added the middle strip. That’s the easiest way to get everything evenly spaced out.
I set the matted panel into position on my 3 7/8 x 5 1/8″ piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and used it as a guide to stamp the Fern & Flora sentiment in Secret Sea ink. Then I adhered the matted panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added three Old Olive Dewdrops Embellishments and the card front was done! Told ya!
On the inside, I stamped a second Fern & Flora sentiment in Secret Sea ink on a Crumb Cake panel. In the corner, I stamped the big fern in Old Olive ink. Then I added another Old Olive Dewdrops Embellishments.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Crumb Cake card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Fern & Flora fern on the front…
…and more of the Moonlit Flora DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well, I don’t know about you but…I love the Moonlit Flora DSP so much that I want to eek every last little bit of it out onto my cards! And this is a great card to do just that! Add a simple sentiment from Fern & Flora – and a bright pop of color in the mat – and you’ve got a super pretty thank you card quick as a bunny!
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
Friday was Cady’s day to be in the “hot seat” and get a visit from the vet. Just routine – check her teeth – get her rabies shot – pull some blood.
Thought you might like a peek at what “check her teeth” involves. It’s not really the same as when WE (or even the pooches!) go to the dentist!
Looks pretty medieval, doesn’t it? Yes – that IS a cordless power drill! 🫤
She’s pretty sedated – just enough to give her a buzz but…keep her standing up.
Of course – Dad sometimes steps in to help with that standing up thing!
She was pretty drunk!! LOL!
They don’t usually fall down – someone usually gives ’em light butt-smack to rouse them a bit before that happens. But – Wayne’s way works, too! 😉
