Happy Monday, y’all! I’m back in the saddle.
If the saddle is on my sofa. Or the bed! Hard to get back on East Coast time for sure – we’d just adjusted to HI time and…back on the airplane! So – I’m spending time chilling with Finn – who is ALSO trying to get over HIS vacation! He’s been snoozing a lot since we got him home on Saturday afternoon! 😉

While we were in Maui on the Incentive Trip – we got the new Jul – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog. AND – we got to see a bunch of cool projects made with the new goodies in the catalog! I snapped some pictures of them and thought you might like a look-see!

Back home! Pretty sure it’s Sunday. Maybe?? Yep – jet lagged as all get out and I keep looking for the ocean outside my windows.
You MAY be surprised to learn that no matter WHICH window I look out – there is NO ocean. At all.
Also? No lazy river. No gorgeous mountains. Nope. Just my pond! 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Well – there are advantages to being home – like my fur-kid and my ponies! All who were as happy to see me as I was to see them!
Now – my card today is actually…FIVE cards! All the same design using the Daisy Garden background stamp set and the Through It Together stamp set. I did one in all five 2021-2023 In Colors. Take a look-see:
Stampin’ Up! May’s Batter Up Paper Pumpkin and a Peek at June’s Kit
Good morning, y’all! While you’re reading this, I’ll be winging my way across the country. Or…flying from New Jersey to Atlanta. I’m not really sure. I DO know that I won’t be home quite yet!
I’m pretty sure I’ll find my May Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! waiting for me – but by the time I figure out what time zone and state I’m in….😳…there’s no telling when I’ll get to it. So – I wanted to let you get a peek at it and to ALSO give you a sneak peek at the June 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Expressions in Color!
The May Paper Pumpkin Kit was called Batter Up and it made 9 fun baseball themed cards and coordinating envelopes!

Stampin’ Up! Our Kauai Adventure Continues
Well – here it is. The day we’ve been waiting for – but…not with excitement! Sadly – this is the day we leave paradise to head home! And – it’s a loooooong trip! We’re going to be “enjoying” the “comforts” of flying for over 24 hours! Yikes! I’m sure I’ll have some pics to share of the journey and the home-coming with the fur-man (I AM anxious to see him tomorrow, for certain sure!). Probably look for those on Monday!
But – in the meantime, we had some more adventures or two in Kauai this week! On Tuesday, we drove into Hanalei again to pick up some snorkeling gear for us and a surfboard – yup! – for Wayne! There’s a bay just below our condo where we see surfers and snorkelers during the day and early evening so…we wanted to see what it was all about!
We clamored down a VERY steep hill – no pics of this, we were BUSY keeping the rubber side down!
Then we watched while Wayne tried his hand at surfing. To his credit – he DID get out past the surf (score) and he DID get back on the board when he was rolled off (I’d have called it a day right then!) and he DID get up on his hands and feet for a few feet. But – surfing is hard work and takes some time so…he came in finally. Then Amy and Lance and I did a little snorkeling…
Stampin’ Up! To The Moon for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop
Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! We’ve got sketch challenge to work with today and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table! I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
I pulled out a sweet little stamp set – called To The Moon – with it’s pretty lunar images and Love-You-To-The-Moon-And-Back sentiments to play with to make a card I sent to our friends on the announcement of a new tiny human on the way! 🙂 And I combined it with a little paper from the Pattern Party DSP (this is the pack that has 40 sheets of paper that you can get for FREE with a workshop or order over $150 in retail!). Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Friendship Thank You
Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! Wednesday is dawning like all the rest here in Hawaii – beautiful! And a little more humid than it was in Maui. It rained here yesterday which was…surprisingly surprising! We knew this was a more tropical-rain-forest-y environment but…it still took us a little by surprise. It was pretty, though – only part of the sky was cloudy so there was sun and rain all at the same time! 🙂
My card today uses the pretty Encircled in Friendship bundle with the fun Encircled in Beauty Dies. All on top of some pretty Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP with a Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper die cut boost. Take a look-see:
Stampin’ Up! Updates from Maui and…Kauai!
Good morning and happy…Tuesday? Already!?! Sheesh – time is flying for our trip – we’ll be headed home before we know it! 😳😳😳
But – we’re still enjoying our time with Amy and Lance! On Saturday evening, we went to the Farewell Luau and had a wonderful dinner and entertainment with the other achievers! The venue was right by the ocean and was gorgeous (THAT’S the Department of Redundancy Department for sure!)!
Stampin’ Up! Sunny Sentiments Spiral Symmetry Hello
Hello from Kauai! We made the island-hop successfully – Maui to Honolulu to Kauai – yesterday. Then hit Costco and the grocery to get provisions for the AirBnB. Which is really nice AND has a spectacular ocean view. I think we’ll do just fine! Have some plans to hike and see the grotto and the National Park while we’re here!
My card for you today is a little different than my usual fare – a little outside my comfort zone – and features several fun new sets from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. A Spiral Dye background lends some fun to a Sunny Sentiments….well…sentiment! A few stylized florals from the In Symmetry stamp set finishes it all off. Take a look-see:
