Stampin’ Up! Fruitful Blessings Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a wide-open sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I pulled out another new bundle – that you’ll be able to get in about a…week!!  It’s the Fruitful Blessings bundle – and I paired it with the Online Exclusive Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder and a little bit of Earthen Elegance DSP (one of my fave things ever!).  Take a look-see:

…and, I picked some elements for the card from this week’s Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. I got Free – Leaves – CAS across the bottom row.

I started by embossing a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock in the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder – which is part of our Online Exclusives!  I matted the panel on Mossy Meadow for the card front.

Then I matted a piece of gorgeous Earthen Elegance DSP on Mossy Meadow and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped the large acorn image from Fruitful Blessings once in Early Espresso ink. I also stamped the smaller leaves three times in Early Espresso.  They all have dies in the bundled Fruitful Blessings dies – so I used them to cut out all four images.

I colored the acorn image with my Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie and Copper Clay Stampin’ Blends.  I colored the smaller leaves with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend.

I cut out a few Old Olive leaves – there’s a cool die that does that – it embosses them as it cuts.

Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere all the leaves to the card front.

On a strip of Very Vanilla, I stamped the Fruitful Blessings sentiment in Copper Clay.  I added some faux stitches with a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker.

Then I adhered the strip to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Note:  I used some Paper Snips to separate one acorn from a leaf so that I could tuck the sentiment “into” the bunch.

I stamped one of the single acorns in Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, colored it with the Pecan Pie and Copper Clay Blends.  Then I cut it with its die and adhered it with a Stampin’ Dimensional to the sentiment.

Finally, I added a few Rustic Metallic Adhesive-backed Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the Fruitful Blessings acorn bunch in Early Espresso in the corner of a Very Vanilla panel.  I colored it with the Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie and Copper Clay Blends.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and into my Pecan Pie card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the acorn bunch on the front…

…and more Earthen Elegance DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Fruitful Blessings is a beautiful bundle – I didn’t even use the corn cob dies! – and it’s going to be a great addition to your Fall card-making arsenal.  The Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder was one of my faves and it’s still available in the Online Exclusives.  And…Earthen Elegance DSP is…just stunning and so versatile! 🙂
