Stampin’ Up! Beary Cute Merry Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge (my fave!) to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

My card today uses a whole Suite-worth of goodies from the Last Chance sale!  And it’s super easy – thanks to the Beary Christmas Memories & More Card Pack and Cards & Envelopes! A little Beary Christmas DSP – and a sentiment and stamped trees from the Beary Cute stamp set brought it all home!  Take a look-see:

And – here’s our sketch! I did go “portrait” but…🤷‍♀️

I’d already used all the Blue cards in the Beary Christmas Memories & More Cards & Envelopes so….I made a 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ card base – with a side-fold – from Night of Navy cardstock.  Using Liquid Glue, I adhered a full card-front sized piece of Beary Christmas DSP to the front of my card base.

I matted two of the Beary Christmas Memories & More Card Pack cards to Balmy Blue mats and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

That’s the beauty of Memories & More Card Packs – they’re great for memory-keeping AND for making cards!  Instant sentiment!

I adhered a few white Adhesive-backed Snowflakes here and there on the card front.  In the center of each, I put a clear Adhesive-backed Sparkle Gem.

And – yep.  That was IT for the card front!

For the inside, I stamped a Beary Cute sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink on a Very Vanilla panel.  In the corner, I stamped the Beary Cute tree a couple of times.  I did the tree twice in Mossy Meadow.  Then I stamped each tree again in stamped-off-once Mossy Meadow – offsetting that second image a little.

I did that one more time – in stamped-off-TWICE Mossy Meadow.  So each tree is made up of three stamped images.  Does that make sense?  I added another Snowflake/Sparkle Gem combo near the sentiment.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Balmy Blue mat and then into the card base and the card was done!

What did I do to the envelope?

Nuttin’, honey – they’re already decorated.  On the front…

…AND on the envelope flap! 🙂

Et Voila!  So…there are 6 – 8 of each design of these cards in the Beary Christmas Memories & More Card Pack and each Card & Envelope pack has 20 of each – ten in red and ten in blue!  Buy a pack of each and…you’re half-way to done!  Add some Beary Christmas DSP and the Beary Cute stamp set and…you’re ready to roll! And – this is ALL on the Last Chance list which means – when they’re gone…they’re gone!
