My card today is a quick and easy one – with a lot of impact thanks to the color palette! I used the Fragrant Layers Bundle (an Online Exclusive) to make a floral arrangement on top of some new Artisan Sketched Garden DSP (new in the May-Aug 2026 Catalog available on 5 May!)! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one was inspired by the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge.
That bold color palette is from The Paper Players color challenge this week!
I started with a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of that new Artisan Sketched Garden DSP that I adhered to the front of my Basic Black card base using Liquid Glue.
Using the Fragrant Layers dies (these are back ordered but expected to return around the week of 27 April) to cut out a solid Daffodil Delight floral spray and the outline floral spray in Basic White.
Using Liquid Glue – sparingly!! – I adhered the white die cut to the Daffodil Delight floral.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals – I adhered the spray to the front of the card base.
I tied a bow from two lengths of white Baker’s Twine and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock, I stamped the Fragrant Layers sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and used the longer label die in the set to cut it out.
Using Liquid Glue on the left end and a Stampin’ Dimensional on the right end, I adhered the sentiment over the bow.
I cut out some Basic White Fragrant Layers leaves – two of the three-leaf die and three of the two-leaf die – and adhered them around the floral spray with Liquid Glue.
I used my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to color six of the Barely Blush 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies (coming on 5 May) – and added five of them to the card front and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the large outline image from the set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. Then I stamped the fill image in Daffodil Delight ink. I added the final remaining 2026-2028 In Color Butterfly that I’d colored earlier.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Basic Black card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Fragrant Layers floral on the front…
…and more of the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! The Fragrant Layers bundle is so pretty – between the die cut foliage and the stamped foliage and sentiments – it’s a winner! And the black-and-white color palette of the new Artisan Sketched Garden DSP is a wonderful starting point – whether you use it in black and white OR color it to suit your project!
