Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! Whew – you guys had some fun with all the new and amazing goodies yesterday – hope you’re watching that mailbox for the arrival of all your cool new things!!
MAYBE one of those new things is…the Silly Old Bear suite goodies from the new May 2026 Online Exclusives! For today’s card, I used…well – ALL the things in the suite – the Sweet Old Friends and Sweet Words & Labels bundles – the Hundred Acre Woods 3D Embossing Folder and the Silly Old Friends DSP. Take a look-see:
I played along with the Just Us Girls CASE A DT Week challenge. I took my inspiration from Vicki’s card – with the central image and embossed card front!
I started by embossing a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock in the new Hundred Acre Woods 3D Embossing Folder and then adhering it to the front of my Very Vanilla card base using Liquid Glue.
I used the largest Sweet Words & Labels die to cut out a Pecan Pie mat and the next largest to cut a woodsy piece from the Silly Old Bear DSP.
I adhered the DSP die cut to the Pecan Pie die cut using Stampin’ Dimensionals and then adhered the whole thing to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Using the dies in the Sweet Old Friends set, I cut out an Early Espresso tree stump and a Pecan Pie tree stump “top”. I adhered them together – the stump “top” actually has a little tab to use to adhere it to its trunk!
I adhered the completed stump to the card front with Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I used the Sweet Old Friends dies to cut out a Hydrangea Hue honey pot and some Golden Glow “honey”. I adhered the honey to the pot with Liquid Glue.
Finally, I used a die from the set to cut out a Pooh image from the Silly Old Bear DSP.
I adhered the honey pot to the card front. with Liquid Glue, then added Pooh with Dimensionals and Liquid Glue.
On a 7/8″ x 2 1/2″ piece of VeryVanilla cardstock, I stamped the Sweet Old Friends sentiment in Hydrangea Hue ink.
Using Liquid Glue and a couple dimensionals on the end, I adhered the sentiment to the card front, tucking it under the stump.
Finally, I added some Crisp Cantaloupe 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies – and one Hydrangea Hue butterfly on Pooh’s nose – and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the row of honey pots from Sweet Old Friends in Early Espresso ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I colored the pots with my Dark Hydrangea Hue, Dark Golden Glow, Light Mossy Meadow and Light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Very Vanilla card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the line of honey pots on the front…
…and some Silly Old Bear DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – this is the second card I’ve made with this Silly Old Bear Suite and…yep. Still loving it! I love the scenic panels and cute Pooh characters that can be cut out with the dies from the Sweet Old Friends bundle. The coordinating sentiment bundle – Sweet Words & Labels – is equally cool – the plethora of label dies is going to be SO handy to have on hand!
