Good morning and happy Tuesday, y’all!   Hope your week is going well.  We had a good visit with our friends yesterday – the kids had fun on the four-wheelers and did a little fishing (even caught a few!) and Jennifer and I caught up – did some cooking together and… made a witch’s hat!

That’s right – I opened up the box with the new Witchy Whimsy Hat Kit inside and we sat down and put it together.  It’s super super cute!

I bought three of them – I’m planning to give this completed version to my friend – she decorates for Halloween for the grands – and I’m giving two un-made kits to the two kids for them to put together for THEIR homes!

When we pulled everything out – I was tickled to see that the hat itself is made from heavy cloth – it feels a little like velvet!

Now – all the pieces and parts and accoutrements that you need to decorate this cutie are in the box.

Like…an eyeball!

And…a fun multi-piece rosette that you brush with coppery shimmer paint and then assemble with a spider web and…spiders!

These cards stick up from the heavy-gauge wire that wraps around the hat…

…and these double-sided shimmery stars are sandwiched over that wire with the included black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

What is NOT in the box that you DO need is…a glue gun!

And – PSA – be careful.  They get HOT! 🤦‍♀️

We had fun putting this one together – it’s like a total 3D Collage!

Thankfully we had some semi-adult supervision although…she did a lot of sleeping thru the process!
