Stampin’ Up! Z-Fold Snowy Carols of Christmas

Good morning, y’all – it’s Monday.

Again.

How in the world does the weekend fly by so darned fast?!? Sigh…

The layout on the front panel was inspired by the sketch this week at the Fusion challenge blog!

The video shows you step-by-step how to make this card. It starts with a Pool Party base, cut to 5 1/2″ x 10 3/4″ and scored and folded at 4 1/4″ and then at 3 1/4″ from that fold. One cool thing about this kind of card is that it fits inside a normal A2-sized envelope! 🙂

The large end panel – which is the same size as the inside of a regular A2 card – is stamped with the little sparkle image from Carols of Christmas in Pool Party ink and the flourish in Tranquil Tide. I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to line the images up.

The sentiment, also from Carols of Christmas, is stamped in Tranquil Tide on a piece of Whisper White card stock, matted on Tranquil Tide and then Fast Fuse’d into the card on the center panel. Continue reading →

Stampin’ Up! Fun Fold Carols of Christmas Video Sneak Peek

Yes, I really am that clever!

As has become my norm, I’m giving you a teensy look at the card we’re going to make tonight on my Facebook Live video at 8pm Eastern. Here’s a link to the page, in case you don’t have it.

This is another one that uses the Carols of Christmas stamp set and bundled Card Front Builder Thinlits. I might be loading you guys up with cards made with this cute bundle, cuz…1 Aug is just around the corner. Like…on Tuesday! And that’s when you can get this super-set for yourself!

I made this one with Tranquil Tide and Pool Party. And…Delightful Daisy DSP. Here’s the sneaky peek…

Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas and a Foil Frenzy for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, y’all – and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Kristi’s on vacation, but all the other ladies are hopping today, so be sure to check ’em all out when you get done here!

We had a color challenge this week – and they’re colors I really love together!

But – I love them so much that when I made my card, I used Kraft and Crumb Cake! Which I realized as I was typing this post. LOL! Hmmmm – well, you’ll have to squint your eyes and pretend you’re seeing Soft Suede!

I used the Carols Of Christmas stamp set and some dies from the matching (and bundled!) Card Front Builder Thinlits to make my card today. And I put it all together with some Foil Frenzy Specialty DSP. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Sorry For Everything on a Whole Lot of Lovely

Good morning, y’all. It’s Tuesday – and there’s exactly one week left in the month of July. Which means there’s exactly one week left to…earn Bonus Days coupons and (more importantly!!) join us in Stampin’ Up! and cash in on the additional $72 in free goodies in the Essentials Pack. Folks – really, now. Do not miss this. If I told you that you had to sign a 2 year contract with Stampin’ Up! – that would be one thing. My card for today is a pretty one – but for a sad occasion. My friend’s friend lost her yellow lab recently. So…an appropriate card was requested! Stampin’ Up! Daisy Delight Corner Pop-Up Card – and Blog Candy!
