Happy Thanksgiving!! Hope you’re getting ready to have a great day – and have your stretchy pants on! 😉
Being that it’s Thursday – it’s ALSO time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! We’ve got a sketch challenge, today – and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table! I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
I decided to be a little obvious today – with a thankful theme with Fall elements. Yep – I had to think LOOONG and hard for that one! 🙂 This revolutionary idea gave me free rein to pull out one of my favorite sets – the Gather Together stamp set and bundled Gathered Leaves dies. A little Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP brought it all together! Take a look-see:
Well – good morning – and happy Monday! It’s a short work week, with T-day on Thursday. Do y’all have Friday off, too? I hope so. That might be the day you put up your tree, right?
Finny got some really good news yesterday. Sonya is coming back soon!! Next week – I’ll have a Sonya-clean house again – not a Mary/Wayne-clean. These are TOTALLY different “cleans”. Finny loves Miss Sonya, too (albeit for different reasons!) – and he’s super excited that she’s coming back!! To be clear – his excitement doesn’t even come close to mine!! 😉
My card today took a step back to the gorgeous Poinsettia Petals bundle and coordinating Poinsettia Place DSP! I made a cross-season card with it – sort of Thanksgiving – sort of Christmas – ALL pretty! Take a look-see:

Hey guys – happy Saturday! I feel like I’ve said this way too much these past few weeks…if you’re in the path of “fill in the hurricane-du-jour” – I hope you are safe and weathering the storm. Sheesh. What a year! 🙁
We’re supposed to be feeling the front vestiges of Delta thru the day – but…should just be a lot of rain. We’ll be good! And – with luck, so will the internet, so…I’m planning to be live tonight on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB page at 7pm Eastern! I’ve got a pretty Autumn card for you that I think you’ll like. Take a look-see:
It’s got some of my favorite things in it so…I hope you’ll be able to join me!
Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! Today’s a theme challenge – and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table! I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
Okay – I realized as I was starting to write this that I used the Plaid Tidings for LAST week’s challenge. And I’ve used it again today! All I can say is…the THEME is PLAID. What was I supposed to do!? And I love this paper anyway so….Sorry not sorry! I added some Autumn Goodness and an Autumn Essentials die cut pumpkin to my plaid this week. Take a look-see:
Morning, y’all! Happy Tuesday. I’m not going to tell you about my Monday – the morning in particular – cuz…you’ll decide I’m cray cray and unfollow me! Let’s just say that Monday started at 5:30 when I set off the alarm in the house even as I stared at the big sign that’s been on the door for three weeks that says “STOP – disarm alarm before opening door” and…it was for sure Monday all the rest of the day! So…I am very happy that this is NOT Monday!
I thought I’d give you a peek at the latest Paper Pumpkin kit – since the deadline for signing up for the October Joy To The World kit is fast approaching!
The September kit – called Hello Pumpkin – was a Treat kit. Everything you need to create 20 treat crackers – decorated for Fall, Thanksgiving or Halloween!
Like every Paper Pumpkin kit, it has an exclusive stamp set – the 11-stamp Hello Pumpkin set – and an ink Spot – this one is in Cajun Craze!
And – it also provided all the pieces and parts you’ll need for your treat crackers – including all sorts of cool die-cut flowers, vines, witch hats, pumpkins, doilies and sentiment labels!
Now – we live down a very long – and dark! – driveway. And we have a gate at the end. So….in the umpty-billion years we’ve lived here we’ve not had one single solitary trick-or-treater. Not-a-one. And parties aren’t really a thing for us. If that sounds sort of like you – and treat crackers aren’t really up your alley – let me show you some alternate ideas!
These used one of the scalloped rectangle dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut the centers out of the treat boxes to then adhere onto Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes card bases.
The sentiments are stamped onto the die cut banners and adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and the adhesives included in the kit!
A little die cut pumpkin from the kit finished the inside of each card, too.
It made 12 note cards – with plenty of leftovers to make even more!
Here are a couple more alternate project ideas from the clever minds of Stampin’ Up!
Now – just in case you do need Treat Crackers – this is a fun way to make a bunch! Here’s the quick video showing you how to put them together as planned! 🙂

You might be surprised to hear that the Plaid Tidings DSP – on SALE NOW! – is one of my favorite paper packs of all time! I LOVE the cross-season versatility of all the wunnermus plaids in the set, don’t you? For my card today – I used it for a Fall card with some help from the Gather Together stamp set and Gathered Leaves Dies. Take a look-see:
