I am, frankly, gobsmacked that it’s already May. Sheesh. Tomorrow is MayDay – have you all made your little MayDay Baskets? Did you do that when you were little? We did! 🙂

My card today is a cool fun fold – called a Double Box fold – that I first saw on Carol Buckalew’s blog site! She did an amazing card using the Nature’s Prints bundle. I decided to try the fold – but showcase the Tea Boutique suite, with the Cup of Tea Bundle and fun Tea Boutique DSP (all of which will be available to you next week on the 3rd. Hmmm. Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
The sketch is pretty wide open and the new Wild & Sweet stamp set just sort of called my name! I combined it with some new Perfectly Penciled DSP. I added a bold sentiment from the Slim Sayings set – which is in the current Jan – Jun 2022 Mini Catalog. Take a look-see:

All us hoppers picked a new stamp set or bundle from the catalog – going live on 3 May! – and made a card using that product. When I first saw the new Sweet Songbirds bundle – it’ll be bundled with the Songbird Builder Punch! – I sort of thought it was too cartoony. I sort of said…”meh”. But – I pre-ordered it anyway (cuz…that’s pretty much how I roll!) and…boy. Am I glad that I did! It is SO stinkin’ cute, y’all! And – I thought there were some really sweet papers in the new Hues of Happiness DSP that would go perfectly with it. So…take a look-see:

Which means I was really excited to learn that the April Paper Pumpkin kit is FULL of fun folds! It’s the Change is Beautiful kit and…it made nine cool and quick fun fold cards!
Happy Half-way-thru-the-weekend, y’all! Hope yours is going well so far. We were very productive yesterday – we raised the three massive trusses Wayne built for our new garden shed. Shed. Hmmm. Garage? Warehouse? Second home? It’s a little big, y’all – although, is there ever TOO big for a spot to keep all the paraphernalia that goes along with gardening?!? I will say no – and stick with that story! 😉
My card today is a another fun fold – and it’s really easy. It’s called a “W” fold (or an “M” fold, depending on your perspective!) and it’s really cool. This one uses the Framed Occasions stamp set (a new set – that I think is going to be a “fly-over” even though it shouldn’t be! – from the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog) and the Design a Daydream DSP – which is one of the Host-Exclusive items in the new catalog. It also features the Celebrating You stamp set and Beautiful Shapes dies – both available right now in the Jan – Jun 2022 Mini and BOTH carrying over! Take a look-see:

We’ll likely be outside – the weather is perfect and we’ve got work to do. Are you starting to come to the realization that our days are all pretty much the same!? 😂😂 Well – they are! And that’s okay with us! We close the front gate and all the crazy is on the OTHER side of the fence! 😉

Good morning, y’all and happy Friday! We’re on the cusp of the weekend and I hope you’re making plans to do something fun! We’re building a new garden shed so that’s for sure on the list! And…tending the garden. And – I’ll be doing a little more craft-room tidying. So…it’ll be Monday before we know it!
