2019 Sale-A-Bration Catalog

Hey, y’all!  Hope your week is going well as we climb the crest of the hill to Hawwmp Day!

I’m busily making cards ahead in anticipation of packing up soon to start the car-stuffing process!  I’ve almost got enough to make it thru the weekend when I’ll have a chance of having my stamping room back in order!

I might outta stop buying more Stampin’ Up!, huh?  I mean – my rental’s not a semi truck!! 😉

The card I made for you today inks up another new goody from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog – the Verdant Garden stamp set…and pairs it with a retiring set called Life is Grand.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge this week.

I started with a piece of Mint Macaron card stock and stamped the first image from Garden Lane in Mint Macaron in all four corners.  Then I added the second image in Mossy Meadow.  It’s a photopolymer set – so it’s easy to line up!

Then I matted the panel on Petal Pink for the card front.

I used my Stamparatus to make the sentiment, inking the Life is Grand image in Mossy Meadow and stamping it on a piece of Whisper White.  Then I cut it out with an Oval Layering Framelit.  I also cut a slightly larger scalloped oval from Petal Pink and adhered them together with Liquid.  Then I popped them onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

From a piece of printed Vellum in the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack, I fussy cut a few leaves.  Then I adhered one under the popped-up oval and one to the oval with Liquid Glue.  I stuck one of the pretty magnolia flower stickers from the Card Pack on, too.

I used the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack to make a double-loop bow, which I adhered with a Glue Dot.  Over the top I added a double-length simple bow of Old Olive Linen Thread.  A Rhinestone Basic Jewel finished off the card front.

On the inside, I added a second Life Is Grand sentiment in Mossy Meadow to a Whisper White panel.  In the corner I added the Verdant Garden vine image in Mossy Meadow, filling in the leaves with a Light Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blend.  Over it, I adhered another flower from the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack and then popped on a Rhinestone Basic Jewel by the sentiment.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Petal Pink mat and into my Mint Macaron card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more of the Verdant Garden vine in Mossy Meadow and Mint Macaron – as well as a Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack flower…

…and I used a coordinating design from the Garden Lane DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! Garden Lane is lovely in many shades of green – and lends so perfectly to pairing with the complementary Magnolia Lane suite!  This pair is going to be a huge hit when the catalog goes live on 4 June!  I hope you like – and are warming up your snap-it-up-quick fingers! 🙂
