I decided to play with the beautiful flower in the new Humming Along stamp set and added a delicate heart die cut from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits, then set it atop a little Botanical Butterfly DSP. Take a look-see:

I had need this past week – sadly – for a card for a friend-of-a-friend who suddenly lost their horse. They’d had her for most of her life and she was well loved. She wasn’t old – wasn’t sick. Was fine in the morning, and colic’d and was gone by the evening. Which is worse on so many levels. So, my friend asked me to make a card for her people.
As luck would have it, we have a wonderful new horse set now – the Let It Ride stamp set! So I pulled it out and then added a perfect couple of sentiments from the Flowing Fountain stamp set. Take a look-see:

We had a nice time last night with our friends – went to dinner (sorta spur-of-the-moment) – at the local Mellow Mushroom pizza house. I’d forgotten how danged good their pizza is – it’s the crust. Perfect! Good evening – good company – good food! We’re trying to go once every couple of weeks just to grab a bite and catch up. Nice!
So – being that it’s Sunday and not “THAT Sunday in February” – which is…next week, yes? – we’ll get together tonight and make us a card shall we? I’ll be live over on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB page at 8pm Eastern. Our card will use some pretty Botanic paper, a real “beauty” of a stamp set and a few Beautiful butterflies! Take a sneaky-peek:
Mornin’, my peeps! Hope your weekend is going well! Mine started out great – on Friday! – with the arrival of my housekeeper! She has recovered from her broken knee and been cleared to work by her physician! I am very happy that she’s better – I mean, broken KNEE! Yikes! She’s one of the hardest working ladies I know and I know it’s been hard on her being sidelined. Oh – and I suspect it’s been hurting like crazy! So – it’s good that she’s recovered as well as she has!
Finny was…beyond ECSTATIC to have her back! He was gyrating from nose to wiggler for about 30 minutes!
His MOTHER was also beyond ECSTATIC at the prospect of a perfectly clean house – SHE was wiggling from nose to toes on the INSIDE! 😉
My card for today is a quick and easy little number that lets some beautiful All My Love DSP just shine thru! I added in some sentiments from the Lovely Flowers and Meant To Be sets, plus a few little die cuts. Take a look-see:
Happy Friday, y’all! I’m glad to be back home again! It was a good trip – learned a lot that’ll help me when I go for the longer haul in February. Like…the hotel will be just fine for setting up my stampin’ spot. It’s right next door to the Post Office. AND – there’s all sorts of places to eat and shop right there, too – including an IKEA!
Whoo-hoo!
Oh – and I learned some work-related things, too – so…there’s that! LOL
So – on to the card! I think we can all agree that one of the most beautiful-est suites in the new 2019 Occasions catalog is the Floral Romance, yes? Part of that is the Floral Romance Specialty DSP, for sure – you guys have seen it and know it’s gorgeous! And there’s also the Wonderful Romance Bundle – which includes the Wonderful Floral Framelits! I used ALL of those in today’s project. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! posted the following update regarding the Butterfly Duet Punch and the Cake Builder Punch:
Sales for the Butterfly Duet Punch (item 148523) have exceeded our forecast and are continuing strong, resulting in a significant number of backorders. Due to Chinese New Year and port congestion delays, estimated arrival is mid-March.
This product is already on backorder but will remain available to order until Friday, January 25 at 10:00 AM (MT); it will then be placed in not-orderable status. If you want to get this awesome punch when it arrives back in stock, be sure to get either the bundle or punch ordered by 10:00 AM MT tomorrow!!! The punch will be available to order again once the supplies have been replenished in mid-March. So if you miss out on getting it now, will be able to order it then!
And…
Sales for the Cake Builder Punch (item 148525) have also exceeded our forecast. Although not currently on backorder, we expect to deplete our inventory of this product within the next two weeks; it will no longer be orderable as soon as inventory is depleted. If you want this awesome punch or bundle, be sure to order it very soon too!! If you miss out on getting this punch now, will be able to order it in mid-March when supplies are replenished.

And it’s cold as a well-digger’s bucket here – but, thankfully, no snow. Oh – there are some piles here and there leftover from the last storm – but the streets are clear and dry.
Which is excellent – cuz I am non-current (by a LONG ways!) on snow and ice driving. And not really interested in renewing that ticket!
