Stampin’ Up! You’re Inspiring Picture Perfect Birthday!

Stampin’ Up! Sure Do Love You Everyday Valentine!

Good morning! How goes your week?

I’m excited cuz…Amy and I are busy making plans for fun activities with our team in the Fall – on top of OnStage in the…well. Fall. And the Cruise this summer! And OnStage Local in April! Stampin’ Up! has become such a huge part of my life – and I’m surely grateful! Isn’t it lovely to have fun things to look forward to doing with your friends?? 🙂

In case you’re paying attention, it’s almost February. Which means Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!

Stampin’ Up! Lots to Love About Southern Serenade

Well, shoot-fire, y’all. It’s freakin’ Monday again! Sheesh – why does it come so fast and then take so long to get back to the weekend? Anyone have a clue? I think it’s even harder to face the week when half (or more!) of the weekend was rainy and pretty much nasty, don’t you? And yes – that’s what we had. All the day long on Sunday. Finn – not a fan. He loves the mud but his mom doesn’t so….he got to spend way less time outside than normal. 🙁

That kind of weather is, however, great for making cards! So…I did! And we did a video last night with one of those projects. I used some of the pretty Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP to make the box with the Lots to Love Box Framelits – I’ve found that the heavier weight of the foil specialty papers works the best for these little boxes.

As you can see in the video – you’ll cut two of the Lots to Love Framelits box die cuts and put them together with Fast Fuse – or Tear & Tape Adhesive like I used! Continue reading →

Stampin’ Up! A Southern Serenade Video Sneak Peek

Good mornin’, y’all! Welcome to half-way-thru-the-weekend day! Which isn’t nearly as good as half-way-thru-the-work-week day (aka Haaaaawwwwp Day!!) now is it? 😉

So – as is the norm, I’ll be live tonight on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB page at 8pm eastern. Now – I’ve heard some stories about FB video crashes the last couple days – so…fingers crossed that they’ve got it all fixed by tonight!

Stampin’ Up! Petal Passion and Large Letters for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, y’all – and welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! We’ve got a color sketch today – and it’s a great one! – so be sure to check out all the ladies’ projects when you’re done here, won’t you?

I love black and white together and being able to pick the third color is especially fun! I decided to use Bermuda Bay (with maybe a little Pool Party thrown in – it’s hard to tell!) and pulled out the wonderful Myths & Magic Specialty DSP. Stampin’ Up! Hold On To Hope Thoughts & Prayers

I needed a sympathy card this week – my husband’s Granny died last Monday. She pretty much raised him, so it was a blow. She was 98 – so it wasn’t a shock. She was ready to go home. I thought that the beautiful Hold On To Hope stamp set and the bundled Cross of Hope Framelits were a perfect choice, especially when combined with a sentiment from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set.
