Stampin’ Up! Christmastime for A Sending You Thoughts Sneak Peek

Happy Christmas Eve Eve!!  It’s really winding down now, folks, so…time to get wrapped up!

See what I did there!?  LOL

My card today celebrates the wonderful Christmastime is Here Suite – which is still available!  But – I turned it into a Birthday card (yes – it’s THAT versatile!) – by using a sentiment from the new Sending You Thoughts stamp set (available FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying $50 purchase!).  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from the sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps this week!

I started with some pinecone strewn paper from the Christmastime is Here Specialty DSP that I matted on Poppy Parade for the card front.

Then I took a small Whisper White panel, embossed it in the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder and then matted it on Poppy Parade.  I adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Whisper White, I used my Stamparatus to stamp the big floral image from the Christmas Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I used the photopolymer stamp images in the set to color the image.  The roses are Poppy Parade, all the greenery is Mossy Meadow, the pinecones are Early Espresso and the berries are CHerry Cobbler!  Remember – the main image in this set is Cling and then the fill-in images are photopolymer (making it really easy to line them up!).  I brushed Clear Wink of Stella Glitter over the rose – not sure that you can see the pretty shine that gives the flowers! 😉

I cut the image out with the matching die in the Roses Die set and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sending You Thoughts stamp set (this is one of the Sale-a-Bration goodies that will be available for free starting on 3 Jan!) in Poppy Parade on Whisper White.  I cut it with one of the scalloped rectangle dies in the Stitched So Sweetly dies (coming in the 2020 Jan – Jun Mini Catalog on 3 Jan) and popped it onto the card front with a Dimensional and some Liquid Glue!

I used a Glue Dot to adhere a small bow tied with 1/4″ Gold Shimmer Ribbon, added a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added the large image – or part of it! – again with my Stamparatus.  I adhered another Gold Glitter Enamel Dot, too.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Poppy Parade mat and into my Early Espresso card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a reprise of the Christmas Rose image on the front…

…and a little more of that Christmastime is Here Specialty DSP on the envelope flap!
