Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments and Lily Impressions
Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all!! How goes your week?
We’re becoming “mold-people” here, I think! It’s rained. And rained. And…yes. Rained. For so long now….
But – make no mistake – I’ll take this (and our unseasonably warm days!) – over snow, sleet and cold-of-night anytime!
Do want to remind you…there are only TWO days left to take advantage of my Special Bundles for the 2020 Jan – Jun Mini Catalog. That’s right – after the day ends on the 17th (Friday!) – these specials are Gone with the Wind!!
Now – my card for today is easy. And also peasy! It used the lovely Beautiful Moments stamp set from the new catalog, along with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder. Plus…a FREE goody – the Iris Impressions DSP. This is one you can get for free with a $50 order (before shipping and tax) while Sale-A-Bration is going on (thru 31 Mar). Take a look-see:
Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Positive Thoughts
Good morning, y’all! Hope you’re headed into a good and relatively stress-free week!!
Before we get going – I’ve got THREE extra Single Paper Shares ready to go if anyone wants them. $15 +$5 for first class shipping gets you 48 – 6″ x 6″ sheets of beautiful new Designer Series Papers – and 6 Best Dressed 3″ x 3″ Note Cards and Envelopes. Let me know ASAP if you want one or more of these packs of gorgeous paper! 🙂
I’ve got a very feminine card for you today – using the new Positive Thoughts stamp set. It also uses two wonderful Coordination Products that will be available to you on 4 Feb – the Nature’s Thoughts dies and the Pleased As Punch DSP. Take a look-see!
The soft color palette is from this week’s CAS Colors & Sketches challenge.
And I think it’s pretty feminine so… I’ll enter it in the Water Cooler Wednesday challenge!
I started with a piece of Petal Pink gingham paper from the new Pleased As Punch DSP and matted it on So Saffron for the card front.
Next, using the large rectangle die in the Nature’s Thoughts Dies, I cut out a piece of Whisper White.
On that panel, I stamped the large leaf image from Positive Thoughts several times without re-inking in Bermuda Bay. Then I added the fluer-d-doo image in So Saffron – again stamping several times without re-inking.
Then I adhered the panel to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Next up was to stamp and cut all the elements for the collage. I stamped the big leaf image in Bermuda Bay on Whisper White and cut it with the die in Nature’s Thoughts. I stamped two Petal Pink flowers and three Daffodil Delight butterflies and cut them out as well. Then I cut two feathers – one in Whisper White and one in Petal Pink Perennial Essence Vellum Card Stock. Finally, a few Bermuda Bay leaf die cuts joined the pile!
The sentiment – from Positive Thoughts – is stamped in Bermuda Bay on the Perennial Essence Vellum and cut with an Ornate Frames Die (carried over from the Holiday Catalog).
With everything cut and ready, I built the collage – adding and moving pieces around until it looked right.
Then I took it’s picture!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere all the pieces – starting with the large Bermuda Bay leaf and building the layers. When I got to the sentiment – I used Glue Dots (they’re pretty easy to “hide” when using Vellum!). Finally – the last flower is popped on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used Liquid Glue to tuck the Bermuda Bay die cut leaves in here and there into the collage and then added a bow tied with Petal Pink 5/8″ Striped Organdy Ribbon with a Glue Dot.
A few Champagne Rhinestone Jewels finished off the card front.
On the inside, I added the large Positive Thoughts leaf in Bermuda Bay on a Whisper White panel, stamping it a few times without re-inking. I also added a second sentiment in Bermuda Bay. Over the sentiment, in stamped-off-once Petal Pink, I stamped the feather image from the stamp set.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a So Saffron mat and into my Bermuda Bay card base, added the card front with Liquid Glue and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Bermuda Bay leaves on the front…
Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Braided Borders for The Paper Players
Hey y’all – happy Sunday!
I’m sorry about last night – I hate missing our Facebook Live sessions! 🙁 And the weather stayed relatively tame for us – a lot of rain and wind and lightning. Power DID stay on – but…we really never know, right? I had my battery lantern right handy! So – it did seem safer to cancel than to have the lights go out right when I was putting on my 4th dimensional! You’d never know how MANY dimensionals I put on!! The not-knowing would have just eaten you up!! 😉
The card you WOULD have seen me make uses the new Beautifully Braided bundle and the color scheme is from this week’s The Paper Players challenge. Take a look see!
And here’s this week’s Paper Players challenge!
I hope you’ll join us and show us your projects! 🙂
I also borrowed a layout from the TGIF Challenges sketch.
I started with a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock that I embossed in the new Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder and matted it on Old Olive for the card front.
I used the Braided Border Punch to cut “braids” from Vellum card stock and Rich Razzleberry paper from the Royals 6″ x 6″ DSP. I snipped the braids into 3 – 4″ lengths and then…adhered them like pick-up-sticks on the card front with Liquid Glue!
You can see that I used both sides of the DSP – the different designs add extra texture and interest to the monochromatic background. I think! 🙂
I wrapped some Linen Thread twice around the card front – securing it in the back with Glue Dots.
For the sentiment panel, I stamped the Beautifully Braided sentiment in Poppy Parade on Whisper White. Next to it, in Old Olive, I used my Stamparatus to add the large floral outline image.
I added the painterly fill-in image with more Old Olive.
Then I cut it out with the largest label-die in the Stitched So Sweetly Die set and popped it over the Linen Thread with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A double-loop Linen Thread adhered with Glue Dots and some Poppy Parade and Gold sequins from the Peaceful Poppies Sequin Assortment adhered with Liquid Glue finished off the card front.
On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Beautifully Braided in Poppy Parade on a Whisper White panel. Then I used my Stamparatus again to add the big floral image in Old Olive.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to an Old Olive mat and into my Thick Whisper White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got the big floral image on the front…
…and more of the Rich Razzleberry Regals DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! What a fun bundle – I love the sentiments and big floral in the Beautifully Braided stamp set and the Braided Border punch is super easy to use to create fun elements for your projects! I hope you like!

Stampin’ Up! Just Us Girls Guest Designer – Peaceful Painted Poppies Birthday Card
Good morning, my peeps! I’m back early on a Saturday morning for week-two as a Guest Designer at the Just Us Girls Challenge!
When I saw our challenge, I took it as a clear sign that it was time for a good ole collage card. So, I decided this would be a good week to go all-in with the Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments bundles. And I do mean…ALL in! Take a look-see:
And – here’s the challenge we’re bringing you this week!
I hope my card will inspire you to get crafty and come on over to play with the Just Us Girls challenge! Looking forward to seeing what you create!
I also used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches for some inspiration!
I started with some of the pretty striped paper from the Painted Poppies DSP and matted it on Basic Black for the card front. I used a different – solid green – pattern for the vertical stripe – also matted on Basic Black and adhered with Liquid Glue.
I matted a piece of Whisper White on Basic Black and added the sentiment from Peaceful Moments in Poppy Parade ink. Then I adhered the panel onto the card front with Liquid Glue.
Next, it was time to “grow” some flowers! First, I used the splatter image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo all over a piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock. Then I cut two solid flowers from the stamped card stock using the Poppy Moments Dies (which is bundled with the Peaceful Moments stamp set). I cut two outline flowers from Poppy Parade and adhered them to their flowers with Liquid Glue.
I cut several solid leaf shapes from Old Olive vellum – found in the Perennial Essence Vellum Pack (annual catalog). The detail leaves are cut in Mossy Meadow. I again used Liquid Glue to adhere all the pieces together.
I cut a few rosebuds from the stamped Flirty Flamingo and their stems from some of the dark green paper in the Painted Poppies DSP (same paper that I used on the vertical strip).
With all the pieces and parts built – it was time to build the collage. So…I laid it all out…
When I was happy with it I took the photo (above), then I picked up the “top” flower – and took another picture.
From there, I assembled the collage using Liquid Glue. I adhered the bow – which is two lengths of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine – with a Glue Dot.
Then I added the final flower with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Basic Black flower centers (cut with the dies in the Poppy Moments Dies) with Liquid Glue and some gold sequins from the Peaceful Poppies Sequin Assortment and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Peaceful Moments sentiment in Poppy Parade on a Whisper White panel. I added the Painted Poppies two-step flower images in Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo. A single gold Peaceful Poppies Sequin finished it off.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Basic Black mat and into my Poppy Parade card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more of the Painted Poppies flowers on the front…
…and more of the Peaceful Poppies DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Okay, y’all – how gorgeous is this double-bundle Suite?! The colors and the dies and and and…. simply stunning! Painted Poppies – with its Painted Labels dies – provide the images and the Peaceful Moments set with its Poppy Moments Dies adds sentiments and a plethora of die-cut florals for all your projects! I hope you like!
So – PSA! I’ll be live tonight at 7pm Eastern on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB page. We’re going to make a fun little card using the new Beautifully Braided bundle. Take a sneaky peek!
Hope you’ll be able to join me! 🙂
Tonight. Right here. 7pm Eastern!

On Fridays – a thing happens that both Finn and I LOVE.
For very different reasons.
Finn – because of the treats.
Me? Because of the clean, fresh-smelling house that happened without my help! 🙂
Yep – Friday is….Miss Sonya-Day!
And – Finn absolutely knows -“Miss Sonya is here”. He flies to the house from wherever we are to say hello and get the treats she always brings! 🙂
The downside – for him – is that he (I) has to pick up his toys on Friday morning, where they have to stay until she’s done mid-afternoon.
They go in the “toy bed” and he patiently-ish waits until it’s okay to start pulling them back out!
He peruses them all. Paws at them a bit – to seperate them and remind himself of how many he has (it’s a lot!).
Then – with one last pass – he picks THE one that will do for a few minutes.
Looks like Mr. Zombie made the cut today!
Won’t be a minute – they’ll all be strewn hither and yon across the living room.
Exactly. Like. A. Toddler. 😉

Stampin’ Up! Let It Ride Flourishing Phrases
Happy happy HAWWWMP DAY!!! Whoo-hoo!
I’ve got a clean and pretty-simple card today – it’s a sympathy card with the Let It Ride and Flourishing Phrases stamp sets from the Annual Catalog. And – I managed to find another reason to use the Stitched So Sweetly Dies from the 2020 Jan-Jun Mini. I LOVE that die set! Take a look-see:
I started with a Very Vanilla panel that I embossed in the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder and matted on Mossy Meadow for the card front.
The art is from the Let It Ride stamp set – I stamped the horse in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla. I colored him with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush – picking up the ink from the lid of the Crumb Cake ink pad.
I added a little green at the bottom with my Light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend.
I matted the panel on Mossy Meadow and adhered the whole thing to the card front with Liquid Glue.
For the sentiment, I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment from Flourishing Phrases on Very Vanilla, then I cut it with the wunnermus scalloped die from Stitched So Sweetly.
I popped the sentiment onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered a double-loop Linen Thread bow with a Glue Dot and that was it for the card front.
On the inside, I used the Stamparatus to add a second sentiment from Flourishing Phrases in Mossy Meadow to a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the image a couple of times to get it darker. Over the top I stamped the trees image (just once!) from the Let It Ride set in Mossy Meadow.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and into my Crumb Cake card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the horse head from Let It Ride in Crumb Cake on the front…colored the same way that I colored the horse on the front of the card…
…and the trees in Mossy Meadow on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! These two sets – Let It Ride and Flourishing Phrases – while not necessarily designed to work together….really do, don’t you think? I love the pretty trees and the addition of the Pinewood Planks embossing brings it home. I hope you like!

Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed Thoughtful Blooms Notecard Set
Happy Tuesday! Here we go again – the week is flying by! You’re almost out of days to take advantage of my Double Peppermints Ordering Special (that ends on the 10th) and my Catalog Special Bundles (those will end on the 17th). So….you know what you need to do!
For today – I made a really simple little set of note cards using the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set (a $50 level Sale-a-Bration Reward) and the coordinating Small Bloom Punch (a $100 level Sale-A-Bration Reward). And I decorated a Mini Pizza Box to create a giftable set! Take a look-see:
And here’s what’s on the inside!
Those are the sweet Best Dressed 3″ x 3″ Note Cards & Envelopes – aren’t they cute? The little envelopes even have liners!
For the note cards, I used the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set to add a sentiment in Blueberry Punch to the front of each card.
I added a large-ish stem and leaves image in Pear Pizzazz. Then I used the large variety of flower images in the set to add flowers and berries in Rococo Rose, Highland Heather, Petal Pink and Blueberry Bushel.
I decorated all three cards similarly – keeping a cohesive look to make it a “set”! I added some Champagne Rhinestone Jewels to the flower centers because Champagne. Rhinestone. Jewels. Hello?!?
This inside of the cards got a second Thoughtful Blooms sentiment in Blueberry Bushel – and more flowers!
I didn’t do a darned thing to the envelopes – didn’t have to! They’re decorated for me!
With the note cards finished, I moved on to the Mini Pizza Box.
I cut a piece of Whisper White to 3″ x 3″ and added my sentiment in Blueberry Bushel – and some leaves and flowers like I’d done on the cards. I also used the striped flower from Thoughtful Blooms to stamp a few Daffodil Delight flowers on a piece of Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ DSP and a couple of Petal Pink flowers on Whisper White.
I added some Blueberry Bushel centers and punched the flowers out with the Small Blooms Punch. I adhered them all with Liquid Glue – and stuck a Champagne Rhinestone Jewel in all the flower centers!
Finally, I matted the square on Petal Pink and again on more of the Daffodil Delight Best Dressed DSP and….adhered it to the top of my Mini Pizza box with Liquid Glue!
Et Voila! I have to say, the Thoughtful Blooms is a really nice flower-builder stamp set – the images are pretty perfect and I love the sentiments! The Small Bloom Punch makes it super easy to add dimension to your projects! I hope you like!

Stampin’ Up! Power of Hope on Stone for the Paper Players
Good morning! Hope your weekend is going well. It finally stopped raining here – so…we executed a “pause work” order on the Ark! Seriously. Had the FedEx guy NOT deliver on Friday because of “weather”. 😉
If you were able to join me last night for my Facebook Live, I appreciate you spending part of your weekend with me! If not, but you’d like to see the Memorex version – here ’tis on YouTube!
Now – I’ve had the distinct honor of being asked to join the The Paper Players for 2020 as a Guest Designer! Wow!! What a thrill. I hope that I can do them proud – and that each week my card (and those of the whole Design Team!) will inspire you all to get inky and crafty and join our challenges!!
For this week, I used the new Sale-A-Bration Power of Hope Bundle. Yes – it’s a stamp set, bundled with the Stone 3D Embossing Folder. And you can get the whole bundle for free with a $100 purchase during SAB. Take a look-see!
And here’s this week’s Paper Players challenge!
I started with a piece of Basic Gray card stock that I embossed in the Stone 3D Embossing Folder. Then I used several ink pads that I swiped across the embossed surface sort of randomly – Pretty Peacock, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie and a little Pineapple Punch that I sponged on last. Then I swiped an almost-empty Clear Wink of Stella across the surface. I matted the panel on Pool Party to create the card front.
I used the largest Stitched So Sweetly die to cut out a piece of Gray Granite. Then, with the tree image in the Power of Hope set, I stamped all around the edge in Gray Granite ink. Each time I inked the stamp, I stamped it off once on my scrap paper before starting on the panel. Then I stamped a few times before re-inking again.
I used the Stamparatus to add the Geisha image and the sentiment from Power of Hope in Soft Suede ink.
I also stamped the Geisha on a piece of Peaceful Poppies DSP and a piece of Tropical Oasis DSP. I fussy cut the dress from the Peaceful Poppies and the parasol from the Tropical Oasis. Then I adhered each piece to the panel with Liquid Glue.
On the card front – I used Glue Dots to wind a length of Gray Granite 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon into three loops. Then I popped the panel over top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a couple three Coastal Cabana gems from the Holiday Rhinestones and the card front was done.
On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Power of Hope in Soft Suede on a Gray Granite panel. Then, in stamped-off-once Gray Granite, I added the tree over top the sentiment – then stuck on another Holiday Rhinestone for good measure!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pool Party mat and into my Thick Whisper White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
The front of my Whisper White Medium Envelope got a full-strength Soft Suede tree on the front…
…and more of the Peaceful Poppies DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! The Power of Hope set is lovely – serene and artistic – and perfect for paper-piecing! And I do love the bundled Stone 3D Embossing Folder – it really let me make some “slate”! Take all that and add in….FREE??! WOW! I hope you like!
Don’t miss out on my Double Peppermint Ordering Special, okay? Pick up $100 worth – get EIGHT peppermints (yes, that’s already HALF-WAY to your $40 Pepperint Reward) AND pick up the awesome Power of Hope Bundle for free! Winner Winner!

Stampin’ Up! Just Us Girls Guest Designer – Into the Winter Woods
Good morning, y’all – and Happy Saturday!
I was honored to be asked to be a Guest Designer on the Just Us Girls challenge for the month of January, so…you’ll be seeing a post from me on Saturday’s REALLY EARLY in the morning! You can catch my Facebook video sneak peek in the post that will come around 7!
I pulled out the carrying-over Snowman Season and the Winter Woods bundle from the Annual Catalog for today’s wintery Thank You card. Take a look-see:
Can you guess our Theme?
I hope my card will inspire you to get crafty and come on over to play with the Just Us Girls challenge! Looking forward to seeing what you create!
I started with some See a Silhouette DSP and, with the snowflake image from the Snowman Season stamp set (this is carrying over – whoo-hoo!!), I stamped all over the panel using Versamark Ink.
I sprinkled the DSP with Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it with my Heat Tool. Then I matted it on Pacific Point card stock.
Using the Into the Woods Dies, I cut three solid trees from Vellum card stock and three of the more detailed trees from Sparkle Glimmer Paper.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the Vellum trees to the card front – being sure to only use it where I knew the top layer of trees would hide the glue.
The Sparkle Glimmer Trees are popped on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals – cut small enough to remain hidden.
For the sentiment, I cut four of the Thank You Die cuts in Pacific Point and one in Whisper White. Then I layered them up, adhering them all together with Liquid Glue.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the die cut sentiment atop the trees. A few Coastal Cabana gems from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels finished off the card front.
On the inside, I used Smoky Slate – stamped off once – to stamp the big tree from the Winter Woods stamp set on a Whisper White panel. Some Snowman Season snowflakes in stamped-off-once Pool Party swirl around the tree.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pacific Point mat and into my Basic Black card base, and to adhere the card front, and the card was done.
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a full-strength Smoky Slate Winter Woods tree and Pool Party Snowman Season snowflakes on the front…
…and more of the See A Silhouette DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Christmas is past but that means it’s thank you card season! I love the Thank You die and it’s pretty darned stunning atop the sparkly Into the Woods trees. Snowman Season and Winter Woods both lend their images to this wintery thank you card! I hope you like!

Stampin’ Up! Woven Heirlooms So Sweetly Sentimental
Whheeeeeeeeeee (that’s me trying to type the sound one of those party doohickies make when you blow them….). Hope you enjoyed the evening and are waking up bright eyed and bushy tailed – ready to get on with 2020!
I made a card for you guys that reflects how I feel about y’all, so I thought it would be a good one to share with you today! It uses the new So Sentimental bundle with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. And I pulled out a little Woven Heirlooms from the Annual Catalog, too. Take a look-see:
If you’ve done any looking thru your new 2020 Jan-Jun Mini Catalog (I KNOW you have!) then this one might look a little familiar. It’s a bit of a CASE of one of the samples!
I started with a panel of Terracotta Tile cardstock that I embossed in the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered it to the front of a Terracotta Tile card base with Liquid Glue.
The next panel is some Woven Heirlooms DSP, matted on Seaside Spray.
I pulled out the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and cut a Whisper White label. Using a plain ole hole punch from the grocery store, I punched holes in both ends. I popped the label onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I ran some Linen Thread thru and around the back of the panel – securing it with Glue Dots.
For the So Sentimental sentiment, I stamped it in Pretty Peacock on Seaside Spray and cut it with a Stitched So Sweetly die. That’s adhered to the white label with Liquid Glue.
I tied a bow with two lengths of Linen Thread and stuck it on with a Glue Dot. Then I added a Pretty Peacock gem from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones and…the card front was done!
On the inside, I added a second So Sentimental sentiment in Pretty Peacock on a Whisper White panel. Next to it, I added some fleur-de-do’s from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set in Rococo Rose. A couple of Noble Peacock Rhinestones finished it off.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Seaside Spray mat and into the Terracotta Tile card base and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got some fleur-de-do’s from Woven Heirlooms in Rococo Rose on the front…
…and a little more Woven Heirlooms DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! This is SUCH a great set – with the So Sentimental stamp set’s wonderful sentiments and the AWESOME Stitched So Sweetly dies, right?? I love it and I’m already hope-hope-HOPING that it’s planned for the next Annual Catalog. LOVE those stitched labels SO much! Speaking of the Annual catalog – don’t forget about the great goodies to be found there – like the Woven Heirlooms stamp set and DSP! I hope you like!
So – the So Sentimental bundle is a part of my Special Bundle #8 – The Say it in Ink Bundle – as well as a whole bunch of other goodies – including the Grace’s Garden bundle, Witty-cisms and Music From The Heart (and more!). Be sure to check it out!
AND – when you order this bundle, you’ll get a pack of Whisper White note Cards & Envelopes FREE and you’ll qualify for 3 $50 Sale-A-Bration rewards OR 1 $100 and 1 $50 reward. What will YOU pick?!? 😉
