Stampin’ UP! Simply Petal Arrangements Sneak Peek Birthday for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

i pulled out a really cool new stamp set – it’s sort of a background stamp but ALSO sort of six SEPARATE stamps! It’s the Petal Arrangements set – and it’s coming on 3 Sept in the new Sep – Dec 2025 Mini Catalog! Since there’s not a sentiment in the set – I turned it into a birthday card with a couple sentiments from the Simply Said stamp set – available right now! Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Simply Pretty Florals in Bloom Birthday Card

Happy Saturday, y’all! When you read this we’ll be getting on the road for the last day to home! Yeah!

Or – we’ll still be sound asleep cuz we’re too tired to get up and do our normal “early start”! Hard to say, really. Regardless – this is our shortest day so…hopefully we’ll be at the home-drome before dark! I’m quite ready to be out of the truck for a bit – and I KNOW Wayne is, too! The dogs? Meh. They’re sleeping their way to GA. Long as we keep the walks – and the food – and the bones – and their beds…coming, they’re good to go! 🙂

My card today is…NOT my card. It’s my friend Beth Kist’s card – and it’s super pretty! It features some new Florals in Bloom DSP and the coordinating Pretty Florals bundle (two Online Exclusives) and a sentiment from the Simply Said Mix & Match Stamp Set (which carried over into the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog). Stampin’ Up! CAS Simply Said Snowflake Nests of Winter Thank You Card

Hey guys – happy Sunday! Hope your weekend – do you have tomorrow off? – is going well! The snow’s finally stopped here in Colorado! At least for a minute. 🙄

My card today is super simple and uses the strips of Nests of Winter DSP that I had leftover from when I made the pretty set of cards last week (see those right here!). I did a little embossing with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder and cut out a sweet little bird (also in the DSP!). Simply Said provided my “thanks” sentiment once again. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Simply Said Nests of Winter Cards with Video Tutorial

Good morning, y’all – did you remember to set your clocks back?! I ALMOST forgot but…one of my friends posted on FB (thanks, Karen!) and so…I remembered to do it before I went to bed! We’re now officially on go-to-work-in-the-dark-come-home-in-the-dark time. Bleh.

The Nests of Winter DSP is one GOOD thing about winter – and it’s what I used to make today’s cards! Yes – CARDS! I saw a set like these from Mary Knabe – and wanted to try them for myself! I did need thank you and birthday cards, so… I pulled out the ever-so-wonderful Simply Said Mix & Match stamp set for those. Take a look-see:

While I was on my trip – I got a BIG box of goodies from Stampin’ UP!
