Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! Hope your week is going well – I know a TON of you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Big Brown Truck with all your new and amazing goodies! We had SOOO MUCH go live yesterday – is there anything like shiny, new crafty toys to play with?! I can’t wait for you to get yer mitts on all the goodies!
SOME of you snagged the products from the awesome new Painted Patch Suite! I used just a smidge of that set – the Painted Pumpkins bundle – with it’s pretty stamp set, dies and MASKS! to make a softly blended thank you card today. Take a look-see:
Hello hello, y’all! Happy Sunday! Hope your weekend is going well – you have nice weather – AND – you’re ready for September. Cuz…it’s bearing down on us like a freight train!! Day after tomorrow – and it’s a BIG DAY!
On that day – you’re going to be able to pick up a few of the cool things that I’ve used on today’s fun fold card. It’s decorated with some pretty hot foiled vellum Lustrous Leaves (new on 1 Sept!) and a sentiment (and a few other things!) from the Elegant Leavesstamp set (ALSO coming on 1 Sept!). A little plaid Painted Patch DSP (yup – ALSO new on the 1st) – added a little whimsy. Take a look-see:
Good morning everyone! Welcome to this month’s Fun Fold Blog Hop for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators! We’ve got a talented line-up and…I think you’re going to like what you see! This is a once-a-month hop and…all our cards will be fun folds!! How cool is that?!?
Today’s card is a cool and easy fun fold – it’s a double z-fold card that I decorated with a little old…and a little new! I pulled a couple of pretty designs from the Paper Medley Mix-In DSP (the “old”) and then used the “new” Everlasting Thanks stamp set (coming on 1 Sept!). Take a look-see:
Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all! AND – happy first-day-of-earning-DOUBLE-Stampin’-Rewards from Stampin’ Up! Whoo-hoo! All the deets are down below but….BLUF: all orders over just $20 (in retail, before shipping & tax) between now and the end of the day on the 21st will get DOUBLE Stampin’ Rewards. There are a couple of caveats – but all the deets are down below! Happy shopping!
Today’s card is a complete and total CASE of one of my own cards – it’s such a nice design that I had to use it again. The first one was a spring-focused card – see that one here. Today’s is a Fall-themed card with a sneak peek of the Radiant Sunflowers and Elegant Leaves stamp sets plus the stunning Sunflower Fields DSP – ALL of which you can get on 1 Sept from the new Sept-Dec 2026 Catalog. Take a look-see:
Happy Half-way-thru the weekend, y’all! Hope it’s going well! Our company will arrive today and since I didn’t get as much cleaning done yesterday as I’d planned – you know what I’ll be doing this morning!! LOL
For today’s card, I went back to one of the very first techniques I used to make a card to share on this blog. It’s called Triple Time Stamping – and it’s super easy but looks totally cool! This one I did using the new Painted Pumpkins bundle – with the cool masks! – and the new Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder – all of which are coming on 1 Sept in the new catalog. Take a look-see:
I started with three pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock that I stacked up on my work surface – securing them together with some re-positionable tape runner (that I got on Amazon and is really handy!).
At the bottom of the smallest – middle – panel, I stamped the sentiment from Painted Pumpkins (available 1 Sept) in Secret Sea Ink.
Using both of the pumpkin stamps in the set, I stamped all over in Secret Sea ink.
Then I used the masks and Small Blending Brushes to color the pumpkins.
– Mask 1: Flirty Flamingo
– Mask 2: Timid Tiger
– Mask 3: Golden Glow
I stamped the leaf image all over in Pool Party ink.
I pulled the small sentiment panel off and embossed the other two – still stacked – in the new Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder (coming 1 Sept in the new catalog).
I adhered each of the panels to their Secret Sea mat using Liquid Glue. Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the middle panel to the largest.
Then I used the die in the Painted Pumpkins set to cut out four Pool Party leaves. I adhered them to the middle panel with Liquid Glue.
I tied a bow from two lengths of Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I added the sentiment panel with double-stacked Black Stampin’ Dimensionals – added some Golden Glow Painted Patch Dots (in the Suite and available on 1 Sept) and the card front was done.
For the inside, I stamped a second Painted Pumpkins sentiment – and a couple of pumpkins in the corner – in Secret Sea ink. I used the masks again to color the pumpkins. Then I added a few more of the Golden Glow Painted Patch Dots.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pool Party card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Painted Pumpkins on the front…
…and a piece of the Painted Patch DSP (available on 1 Sept) on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – the more I play with all the pieces and parts of the Painted Pumpkins bundle – the more I love it! Stamped images – sentiments – perfect masks for coloring – and amazing die cuts – ALL make for so many possibilities for your projects! And, of course, the colors in the coordinating Painted Patch DSP are a wonderful place to start (and you CAN cut out a bunch of pretty pumpkins using the dies in the set – BOOM!).
I hope you like and…are adding to your gotta-get-it list for 1 Sept!
If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products and card cuts you’ll need are down below! And this is the card I made on yesterday’s Saturday Nite YouTube Live Video! If you’d like to see it – for the first time or again! – here ’tis!

And – remember the card I told you was one of my first? I used the Ornamental Pine stamp set – one of the very first SU! products I ever purchased – and one of my all-time faves! I actually made this in a hotel room in California – at Edwards AFB (it wouldn’t be the LAST card I made in a hotel room, for sure!). Made a whole set of them for my Mom! And – if you want a chuckle – check my oh-so-polished blog post (only the SECOND one I’d ever done!) on how I made it! 🤦♀️😂

Finn Fan Fix
Finn convinced Wayne to give him his water bottle on our walk back from the barn the other night.
He takes this mission VERY seriously!
Sometimes he stops to be sure there’s no deer.
All’s quiet, Mom! Continue mission.
Mission complete!
He’s a goofus – but…it was good to see him having fun!
Well – y’all take a moment to congratulate yourself for getting to the other side of a work week! Whoo-hoo! I hope your weekend is looking to be a good one! Ours is up in the air – no plans on the horizon right now! Feels like it’ll be a quiet one.
I’ve got another sneak peek at the new Painted Patch Suite – with the Painted Pumpkins bundle and Painted Patch DSP, plus the pretty Painted Patch Adhesive-backed Dots (love these!). I used them to make a very cool fun fold – it’s a double gate card – and it’s really fun to make. Take a look-see:
You’ll see this card – along with the other Design Team members’ cards – at this month’s Creative Creases Challenge! 😎 We’re ALWAYS wanting to see pretty fun folds so…I hope hope hope you’ll make one (or three!) and come share them with us! 🙂 Continue reading →
Good morning, y’all – did you have a good weekend? Ours was pretty good – not a lot happened – which is good in some ways, right?!
Just a PSA – tomorrow is the start of our DSP Sale – 15% off select papers – so…be sure to be making your lists, okay?!
For today – I couldn’t resist – I had to dig into my “NEW” stuff again! This time – the next thing I suspect that you figured I’d use sooner rather than later – the new Elegant Leaves bundle! I used it to make a cool and easy Thank You card! Take a look-see:
Good morning, y’all It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
I used a few things to make today’s thank you card – some new Alpine Winter DSP (coming on 1 Sept in the Sept 2026 Online Exclusives) sets the stage for a few Simply Leaves leaves and a sentiment. And – I made a frame with a couple of Everyday Archesdies. Take a look-see:
Good morning, y’all! Hope your weekend is going well! I’ve discovered that when 65 year old me decides to medium-deep clean the kitchen, make sourdough pizza AND sourdough bread AND do a card video all on one single Saturday – that 65 year old me is…whooped at the end of the day! So today for me is…recover! Which might include watching a few episodes of Bridgerton. I FINALLY started watching it and now, of course, I’m hooked! LOL!
Today’s card uses my favorite Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder two different ways – along with the coordinating Fern & Flora bundle – to make a pretty thank you card! Take a look-see:
Good morning, y’all It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
Our color challenge had me pulling open the cabinet drawer with the Velvet Meadow Specialty DSP so…I just went on with it and used the coordinating Flowering Meadow bundle, too! I used them all to make a pretty thank you card. Take a look-see:
