Happy Sunday, y’all! As I type this on Saturday evening we’re wondering if the snow will come this far north. Yes – this far NORTH! They’re calling for SNOW in south Georgia and the Florida panhandle! Which is a Big Deal (if it comes). It usually doesn’t last long, but…I’m sure there’s not a loaf of bread or carton of milk to be found anywhere south of Macon right now! 😉

Good morning on the first day of December! I hope your week has been a good one! Did you catch that first sentence? It is the FIRST day of December. Which means…there are 24 days until Christmas! Does that strike fear in your heart? Or…have you been “ready for Christmas” since July?! I’m somewhere in between – gotta wrap/pack/mail and then I’ll be ready to concentrate on the things that stay here in GA!

My card today is another CASE (I know – it’s like I’ve not had an original thought in my head all week!! 😉 ) – this one from my friend and upline Amy Koenders! Her shoebox swap card from the retreat last weekend – using the Brightest Beauty bundle – really inspired me for this one – but I used the Forever Fern stamp set and coordinating Forever Flourishing Die set! Good morning good morning! It’s the day after the 4th and I hope you and your critters had a fun and non-scary evening! We spent the day getting provisions for the girls – well, putting provisions on a Rain Check!! – and buying a few garden fence panels to take care of a little problem we have at the fountain by the barn. And two more perennials (WAYNE’S idea – not mine!!). So…a good quiet day!
I’ve got one of my VERY favorite fun folds for you today – the venerable side-fold. It doesn’t have an extra easel. It’s not an upside down and sideways book card with a twist. We crashed HARD – again! – last night – Saturday was a long day and Sunday, too, for that matter! And that included the Man! He finally found his lick and decided he doesn’t mind traveling and hotels. Especially ones with cool tile floors and a blower thing that he can stand right in front of and have cold air blast his face! He even decided he was okay with the elevator! He IS tired – finally! On Saturday, he was up and down every time we slowed down – for much of the ride to Huntsville. On Sunday, he was sacked out and sound asleep in the car within 10 minutes of hitting the road! LOL
