Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! Today’s a color challenge and I know you’ll see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop.
I took the color challenge and went all Christmas – using the Making Christmas Bright and Making Every Day Bright stamp sets, plus some Pretty Pines! Take a look-see:

I pulled out the cute little Making Every Day Bright stamp set which, OBTW – just so happens to coordinate with the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch that you can get bundled with the Making Christmas Bright stamp set. So – buy that bundle. Buy this set. And make this! Take a look-see:
Okay – to be fair, to make this you’ll also need a sentiment stamp set – I picked Itty Bitty Greetings!
This one is quick so…buckle-up, Buttercup!
I started with a panel of Whisper White card stock and, in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamped the “cord” image from Making Every Day Bright twice.
I pulled out my Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie ink pads and stamped the solid lightbulb image in alternating colors. I also stamped a Mango Melody bulb on a separate piece of Whisper White.
Going back for my Tuxedo Black, I stamped the sweetly-spooky little spider and web on that Mango Melody bulb and cut it out with the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch.
Also with the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch, I cut out “bulb tops” from some Black Foil, which I stuck onto the top of each bulb with little dabs of Liquid Glue. I trimmed the excess off the edges and matted the panel on Mango Melody.
I popped my spider-stamped bulb on top to the “cord” with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
Then I tied a bow from the Black 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon and adhered it to the top of my spider-bulb with a Glue Dot.
I stamped the Itty Bitty Greetings sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, added a clear Epoxy Droplet and the card front was done!
On the inside, I added a little more of the Making Every Day Bright light strand across a Whisper White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to mat the panel on Mango Melody and then into my Basic Black card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
The front of my Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Making Every Day Bright lights…
….and I added a few more onto the envelope flap. Cuz why WOULDN’T I?!? 🙂
Et Voila! I TOLD you it was quick and easy. And even I – the so-not-the-Queen-of-Clean, love this card! The simple color scheme is very appealing, don’t you think? I love this Making Every Day Bright stamp set – it’s got so many possibilities! I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
A week or so ago, I made a fun Halloween card using what I think is one of the cutest images ever!
I really just LOVE that little ghost!
Well – when I was done with the card and went to tidy up…the little ghost had ghosted me!
He was flat gone!
I looked high.
I looked low,
I scoured the waste bins at my desk.
I got on my hands and knees.
I looked suspiciously over at The Man.
Yes – I truly thought he’d absconded with my little ghost.
After a day or two went by, I resigned myself to having an incomplete stamp set.
And I was seriously bummed. I hate losing stuff – and I hate incomplete sets of stamps. Or dies.
I mean – do you buy another set? Oh the decisions.
A couple days ago, I was making another card and needed my Watercolor Pencils.
The box came off the shelf and…
I feel sorta bad for doubting the Man.
Oh wait – no I don’t. We all know it’s more a matter of “when” not “If” he really DOES do some absconding!
It’s just what they do!
