Stampin’ Up! Delicate Details Treat Box in Hues of Happiness

Good Monday, y’all!  Hope your weekend was great and that your week ahead is smooth and easy!  We had a very good visit with my friend Sally and I was sad to see her leave yesterday.  She’s that friend that, no matter how much time goes by between visits, it’s like no time has passed at all.  I hope each and every one of you has just such a friend! 🙂

My card today isn’t a card at all – it’s a sweet treat holder!  I made it with the new Delicate Details Treat Boxes and some pretty die cut flowers from the Hues of Happiness DSP.

A couple weeks back I made a couple of birthday cards using the Happiness Abounds bundle and the gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP.   If you missed it – here‘s the how-to’s and where-for’s on how to make that one!

One of my friends celebrated her birthday right before we left so I gave her that card and made the coordinating treat box – that I filled with some yummy cookies in a food-safe bag!

The Delicate Treat Boxes are super pretty with their “lace” fronts and very easy to assemble – I used Tear & Tape Adhesive on the flaps and it went together lickety and also split! 🙂

Before I decorated the front, I used a little Liquid Glue to adhere a piece of mostly-Daffodil Delight Hues of Happiness DSP on the inside of the front of the box.

Then I used the Flowering Happiness Dies to cut several big and beautiful flowers and some leaves from the Hues of Happiness DSP.

I adhered them to the front of the treat box with Liquid Glue.  Then I added some Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels here and there!

I used a plain ole hole punch (from the grocery store – VERY high end! 😂) to punch a couple of holes in the top of the bag.  I threaded some Fresh Freesia 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon thru and tied a bow.  This was AFTER I put the cookies inside, obvs!! 😉

As you can see – the two projects went together like peanut butter and jelly!  🙂

Et Voila!  The Delicate Details Treat Boxes are wonderful – just big enough for a little something sweet and pretty enough on their own to not even need further decoration if you didn’t want to take the time.  But…adding Hues of Happiness flowers??  Yup!  Or create a matching box to go with your own birthday creation!  Perfect-o!

I hope you like!

If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products and card cuts you’ll need are down below!

I’ve also created a printable PDF with written instructions and a list of the products used to create this project.  You can download, print and/or save it by clicking this image:

It’s okay for YOU to not believe in Bigfoot.

Sally and I KNOW he’s real! 😉

And – as they say here in Bailey – HE doesn’t believe in YOU, either! 😉

  1. So cute! Perfect gift bag with your birthday card! Love the lacy die cut background. Glad that you’re enjoying your visit! 🙂

  2. Beautiful package and card. I’m sure it was appreciated and oohed and ahhed over. Yes, I know what you mean with a friend like Sally. Glad you enjoyed each other’s company. That’s a great pic of the two of you. Well, I saw her face, now I’m a believer. Not a trace of doubt in my mind. I think everyone believes it’s a “he”, but not the Monkees and I’m with them! You’re welcome…lol. Continue to enjoy your time away with mom, Addy and friends.
