Today’s card has some products that you might want to get with your free shipping if you don’t have them already! Like…the Nature’s Symphony bundle and coordinating Nature Walk DSP! Plus – there’s the sentiment-only Prayers & Promises stamp set to turn this into a gorgeous Sympathy card and a few other goodies, too! Take a look-see:
I started by adhering a piece of script-covered Nature Walk DSP on Pretty Peacock cardstock to make the card front. I matted a 3/4″ x 5 1/8″ piece of the DSP – in Lost Lagoon – on Pretty Peacock – and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Using the largest Nested Essentials banner die, I cut out yet another design from the Nature Walk DSP and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I used the big – and gorgeous! – Nature’s Walk leaf die to cut out a leaf from the Gold Natural Hues Textured Specialty Paper and one from Pool Party Pastels Shimmer Specialty Paper.
While I was cutting, I used the small leaf die to cut out three little leaves from Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper.
I cut the large leaves into two sprigs each and then used Liquid Glue to adhere them to the card front. Note – I ended up trimming the bottoms off the stems just to make them a little shorter! 🙂
I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the Prayers & Promises sentiment in Pecan Pie ink. Then I added the texture image and the small leaf image from Nature’s Symphony in stamped-off-once Lost Lagoon ink over the sentiment.
Using the next-to-largest Nested Essentials rectangle die, I cut out the sentiment.
Using double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals – I adhered the sentiment over the bow.
Using Liquid Glue, I tucked the three small die cut leaves into the collage.
I added some Lost Lagoon Earthy Matte Dots and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Prayers & Promises in Pecan Pie ink on a Very Vanilla panel. In the corner, I stamped the large leaf image from Nature’s Symphony in Lost Lagoon ink. Using the bullet end of the Light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend, I added doodle-dots around the leaf image.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of a Pecan Pie card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Nature’s Symphony leaf – and doodle-dots! – on the front…
…and more of the Nature Walk DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – for all the things, the Nature Walk DSP is…a most wunnermus choice! The colors are stunning and I love how well they all work together! With the Nature’s Symphony bundle – you get pretty sentiments and images and die cuts to go with! Need a sympathy card? You can’t go wrong with the sentiment choices in the Prayers & Promises set -I lvoe it so much it MIGHT be one that stays on my shelf even when it retires! Yep – it’s THAT good! Be sure YOU have it on YOUR shelf!
