Stampin’ Up! Bright Skies and Sunny Days Sneak Peek Card

‘Sup, y’all!?  Hope your final week-of-prep is going well – whether you’re baking, wrapping or sitting with a cuppa something hot and watching the snow outside your window!

I’m deep into the new Jan-Apr 2024 Mini and Jan-Feb 2024 Sale-a-Bration catalogs and today’s card is a reflection of that – there are so many cool samples (those SU designers are TALENTED)!  I used the cute new Bright Skies bundle (from the mini) and some Sunny Days DSP – which is a coordinating paper that will be gettable for FREE with a $50 qualifying purchase during Sale-a-Bration!  Take a look-see:

I started by embossing a piece of Vellum cardstock in the Raindrops Embossing Folder (available right now in the Annual Catalog) and adhering it to the front of a Basic Gray card base using Stampin’ Seal.

I used the largest and the medium cloud dies from the Bright Skies die set…

…to cut out two clouds from two pieces of the free-during-Sale-A-Bration Sunny Days DSP.

I adhered the smaller cloud to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

The large cloud (with the pretty Poppy Parade flowers!) I adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the little Bright Skies sun – SOOO cute! – in Crushed Curry ink.  I also stamped the sentiment in Poppy Parade.  Then I used the sun die to cut out the sun – and the medium cloud die to cut out the sentiment.

I tucked the sun behind the clouds using some Liquid Glue.

I adhered the sentiment cloud with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then, cuz they’re cute! – I added some flowers from the Adhesive-backed Hearts & Flowers – coming in the new mini catalog.  And that was it for the card front.

For the inside, I stamped a few little Bright Skies flowers in Petal Pink – with Shaded Spruce stems/leaves – on a piece of Basic White cardstock.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pool Party mat and into the Basic Gray card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got more Bright Skies flowers on the front…

…and more of the Sunny Days DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This is the sweetest little set, y’all!  I LOVE the stitched-edge clouds you get with the Bright Skies dies – and the sizes are perfect for layering.  I mean – if I LIKED layers…. 😂😂😂. And the bundled stamp set has sweet coordinating images and sentiments to let someone know you’re thinking about them and that they matter to you!  The Sunny Days DSP is a perfect accompaniment – and…getting it FREE with a $50 purchase (before shipping & tax) during Sale-a-Bration is just icing on the cake!
