Gorgeous!! 😊
Thank you! 🙂
Beautiful Mother’s Day card, Mary! The Marigold set goes great with the Rain or Shine paper!
Thanks, Carole! 🙂
Great collage! You do have a green thumb when it comes to marigolds 😉
At least in cardstock and ink! Thanks, Karen! 🙂
Oh my goodness, that’s so pretty Mary! The layering is perfect, love the colors that you’ve used too! 🙂
Thank you so much, Amy! 🙂
Brilliant use of the navy pieces to make that vertical panel! The thistles are beautiful against it. Thank you for joining the challenge at Sketch Saturday.
Thanks much – appreciate you stopping by!! 🙂
This really is a springy card. The design is a true winner.
Thanks, Sharon! 🙂
Great card, Mary! what could be better than flowers and rain, and yellow and blue for spring?
Thank you, my friend! 🙂
You have an incredible knack for putting colors together… never would have thought Pale Papaya & Mango Melody. This is wonderful!
Thanks so much, TL! 🙂
Such a pretty card Mary! Love the colors! And hopefully you got the flower the right way around so that the pansy police on the internet don’t come out again. 😉 So glad that your sweet girl (and you!) are starting to settle into the new routine. I’m sure that it will get a little better each day for her. Sending hugs to you all!
Yes – a little better every day. To use a cliche – the only way out is through. So…that’s what we’re doing. Thanks very much, Amy!
Pretty card. I haven’t used that set enough. Thank you for your FFC. Yes, they do grieve and just like people, it’s different ways and different lengths of time. You are such a good mother along with daughter, sister, wife and most of all, friend. Have a blessed day.
Oh – thank you so much for the kindness, Karen – I appreciate you very much, my friend! 🙂
Oh Mary, I am so sad for all of you. We am going through something similar. We lost our dog Benji to prostate cancer last week. We have another dog, Benji’s pal, who keeps laying at the front door waiting for Benji to come home. It’s just heartbreaking. We’ll all get through it but it hurts right now.
Oh Gerri – I am SO SO sorry. I know you’re still in the early stages – as is Benji’s friend. The tincture of time WILL help us all – but…it seems to take forever. Take GOOD care, my friend! 🙂
Thanks Mary! You take care as well.
🙂
A beautiful card, Mary! Thank you for sharing it with The Paper Players. The Layered Stripes stamp set has moved up several places on my Wish List after seeing how you worked your magic with it. As for the inside pansy, I have no idea if it is right side up, droopy, or the victim of garden pests. All I know is that it is the perfect way to finish off the inside of your stunning card. I am so sorry for your loss. I know all too well the heartache. And I also know all too well the grief that animals feel, having helped the remaining members of our pack as we lost four very quickly. It is heart wrenching to see them search, to hear them call, for a beloved friend who will never return. My thoughts are with you. Hugs…
I know you DO know – and too well, my friend! And yes – even as we hurt for the one who has gone – we hurt MORE for those that are left wondering what happened. Thank you so much – for ALL the kind words, Ann. 🙂
Grief is real. And a process with no shortcuts. My prayers are with you…and with Cady…as you move through it together. Much love!
Thank you, Mom – it all helps! ❤️
I’m so glad you used the pansy set again….I’ve always loved it. it’s just the sweetest little flower.
Thanks for the update about Cady. I’ve been so sorry for all of you…but almost mostly for Cady. If only we could explain things…but there is none of that….just the grief that isn’t explainable. I’m sure she is being showered with lots of love and peppermints.
Sending hugs and prayers over all of you…
Yes – I am certain she knows – we let her see Cerah after. But..I think she forgets – same as I do! Peppermint therapy is for sure underway! Thank you so much, Faith! 🙂
Oh friend… my heart is still breaking for you and your loss! What an adjustment for all! Now the card you made is smashing! Love all the colors and the ink blended background! Thanks for playing over at The Paper Players Challenge
Thanks, Tara – I sure appreciate the love! And I appreciate you coming over to leave such a nice comment! 🙂
Beautiful pansy card, TFS. Ah, my heart breaks for Cady and for y’all. 😢
Thanks, Susan – your kind words are much appreciated! 🙂
Beautiful card, Mary. I love the background! This is one of my favorite sets!
Animals grieve just like we do. Glad to see that Cady is coming around.
She is – she’s too smart to not get it! Thanks so much, Carol! 🙂
Hope to catch your live tonight! Hoping that next week is a much better week for you! Poor Finn…so many things to keep track of and so little time to snap up the crumbs! 🙂
Yes – lots of moving parts ALL the time! It’s exhausting! Thanks, Amy! 🙂
I’m so sorry to hear of your loss of sweet Cerah! Sending hugs!
Thank you so much, Shari – she was a very good girl and will be missed every day! 🙂
I so look forward to when there will be no more death, pain, or sadness. Yes, animals do feel.
Oh, me, too. Me. Too. Thanks, Bonnie!
Mary, Wow! This is an amazing card … you had me at the front of the card! And then the explosion part on the inside! Plus what a super color palette 🎨 Thank you!
Thank you so much, Suzanne! I appreciate you coming by and am so glad that you liked the card! 🙂
Such a fun card design! Love the bright colors, perfect for those leaves. Poor Finn…if you’d only use a bigger bowl, he’d be all set. 😉
