Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season to Remember Sneak Peek with Video Tutorial

Good morning, y’all! I hope your weekend is going well.  We’ve been playing footsie with rain off and on so…spending more time in than out! 🙂

I have been less-than-successful in my effort to NOT make Christmas cards yet – but…the new bundles in the Jul – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog (available SOON – 3 Aug!) have just been calling my name!  ESPECIALLY the sister bundles of Christmas to Remember and Christmas Season!  For this one, I also used the Be Dazzling 6″ x 6″ Specialty Paper – one of the FREE Sale-A-Bration goodies you guys will be able to choose when you spend $50 (before shipping & tax) during this next round of Sale-A-Bration (3 Aug – 30 Sept).  Check it out!

What?  Not what you were expecting – color-wise?

Well – that non-traditional color scheme is a result of the inspiration from this week’s Color Throwdown challenge! Really shoved me right out the box! 🙂

This is a bit of a CASE from the sample in the Sale-A-Bration flyer! 🙂

I started by cutting a Bermuda Bay panel and matting it on Polished Pink for the card front.  Next up – I started cutting the big, gorgeous pine boughs from the Christmas Pinecone Die set – this is the one bundled with the Christmas to Remember stamp set.

I cut the more solid die from Mint Macaron and the detailed die from the new – and FREE during Sale-a-Bration – Be Dazzling 6″ x 6″ Specialty Paper.

Note:  these are both very detailed die cuts – so…plan to run them back and forth thru your cutter a few times.  Use the Take Your Pick with the Die Crush Tip on it.  And take your time!

I used Liquid Glue – sparingly!! – to adhere the Be Dazzling die cut over the Mint Macaron cut.  Then – I used a lot of Stampin’ Dimensionals – strategically placed so they’re hidden – to pop the layered die cut over the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas to Remember stamp set in Polished Pink on Basic White and cut it with a label die from the Seasonal Labels Die set.  THIS die set is bundled with the Christmas Season stamp set.

I know – it’s a little confusing.  But…these two bundles were DESIGNED to work together! 🙂

I used my Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker to add faux “stitches” to the sentiment label.

Using Stampin’ Seal +, I adhered a loose “z” of Polished Pink 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon – then I popped the sentiment over top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a Night of Navy gem from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment label and some Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Jewels here and there around the pine bough – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Christmas to Remember in Polished Pink on a Basic White panel.  In the corner, I stamped the pine boughs, stems, berries and pinecones from Christmas Season in Mint Macaron, Night of Navy, and Bermuda Bay.  I added some little Polished Pink dots and another Night of Navy Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewel, too!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Polished Pink mat and into my Night of Navy card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got more of the Christmas Season foliage on the front…

…AND on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  WOW!  While I was making this card – my brain was saying…nononono!!  But, when I got it done…yesyesyesyes!  I love how these colors – and the bold glitter of the Be Dazzling 6″ x 6″ Specialty Paper – work with the wunnermus Christmas Season (with the Seasonal Labels Die set) and the Christmas to Remember set (with the Christmas Pinecone Dies)!  This is going to be a CLEAR FAVORITE Suite!
