Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Nature’s Harvest Sneak Peek Sympathy Card

Well.  Here we are – Monday again!  What does your week look like?  I hope that whatever’s on the menu/calendar will go smoothly for you!

My card today is destined for someone who’s had a rough few months, punctuated by a very bad week.  So I hope it will help her to smile for just a minute and know that there are folks pulling for her and her family!  I used the stunning Nature’s Harvest – with the bundled Harvest Dies– new Cork Specialty Paper, and Timeworn 3D Embossing folder (all coming on 3 Aug in the Jul – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog) – combined with a fave from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog – the Peaceful Moments set.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

And the theme from The Paper Players inspired the addition of the tiny Bumble Bee Trinket!

I started by embossing an Evening Evergreen panel in the new (and amazing!) Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder – then adhering it to the front of my Evening Evergreen card base with Liquid Glue.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere a Soft Succulent panel to the card front at a slight – but jaunty! – angle.  Then I popped a new Cork Specialty Paper panel over top with Stampin’ Dimensionals to create the card front.

I used the tall wildflower die in the Harvest Die set to cut a Soft Succulent and an Evening Evergreen flower – and adhered them both to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On another piece of the Cork Specialty Paper, I used my Stamparatus to stamp the large and small wildflower images from Nature’s Harvest in Early Espresso ink.

I cut them both with their die in the Harvest Die set.

Using Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow from the Soft Pastels Assortment, and a Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush as the “paintbrush” – I colored the two flower images.  I made a card with this coloring technique a couple weeks ago and there’s a video tutorials on how to do it right here if you’d like to see it!

Then I popped the larger one on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the Nature’s Harvest sentiment in Early Espresso on a piece of Soft Succulent and tore it down to size, then popped it over the flowers with Dimensionals.  I added the second – small – flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I created a bow from new 3/8″ Diamond Weave Ribbon (in the new mini Catalog and available on 3 Aug).  First I made a loop and then wrapped a little Linen Thread around the center and tied a bow.  Then I adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.

I adhered a sweet little Bumble Bee Trinket with a Glue Dot – then added some Evening Evergreen gems from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels here and there and the card front was done!

On the  inside, I added a sentiment from Peaceful Moments (available now!) in Early Espresso on a Very Vanilla panel.  In the bottom corner, I added the small floral from Nature’s Harvest in Early Espresso and colored them with the Soft Pastels and Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  I added another Evening Evergreen jewel by the sentiment.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Soft Succulent panel and into the Evening Evergreen and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the small Nature’s Harvest floral on the front…

…and more of the Cork Specialty Paper on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I don’t have enough words to express how very much I love love love the Cork Specialty Paper!!  I mean…seriously?  It’s completely wunnermus!  Between it and the Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder – and the anchoring Nature’s Harvest stamp set with its bundled Harvest Dies – the Harvest Meadow Suite is – I’m not afraid to say it! – my favorite suite in the whole new Jul – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog!
