Happy Happy Hawwmp Day – it’s sort of like Monday and yet…not? I do love a short week, that’s for sure.
Before we get going, let me make two little plugs: today is the last day to pick up goodies from the 2018 Holiday Catalog, so don’t miss out on your favorites, okay? And – tomorrow is the start of the 2019 Occasions Catalog – and Sale-A-Bration! Whoo-hooo!! There are so many good things that will come to you during Sale-A-Bration…be sure to stay tuned, okay?!?
So – speaking of the new catalogs, I used the new Amazing Life stamp set atop a little Floral Romance Specialty DSP. Take a look-see!
The layout was inspired by the sketch at the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge – their first of 2019!
I started with a piece of Petal Pink non-vellum paper from the stunning Floral Romance Specialty DSP, matted on Fresh Fig for the card front.
The next panel is some of the beautiful Vellum paper that puts the “specialty” in the name of this DSP! I used Liquid Glue under the printed areas to adhere it to the card front.
The sentiment, from the Amazing Life stamp set, is stamped in Tuxedo Black on Whisper White and cut with an oval Stitched Shapes Framelits. I used some Fresh Fig to add the little flourish up in the corner.
Can an oval HAVE a corner? Hmmm…
I stamped the image again on a scrap of Whisper White and fussy cut just the banner in the center.
With my Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends – I colored the “Happy”. Then I used my Mossy Meadow Blends to color the banner.
I popped the oval onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then popped the banner on top with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
With some Glue Dots, I wound a few loops of Linen Thread onto the card front. Over that I used a Mini Dimensional to add a Floral Romance Seal.
I pulled out a couple of Butterfly Elements (available for FREE with a qualifying $50 purchase once Sale-A-Bration starts tomorrow!). I added them with some Mini Dimensionals and Liquid Glue.
I added a few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls and the card front was done!
On the inside, I simply added two corner flourishes from Amazing Life in Fresh Fig to a Whisper White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Fresh Fig mat and into my Mossy Meadow card base and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Amazing Life flourishes in Fresh Fig on the front…
…and I added more of the non-Vellum Floral Romance Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.
Et Voila! This Amazing Life set has so many sentiments – and even some great graphic images, too! It’s a wonderful and versatile stamp set for all your card making needs. Oh – AND it’s bundled with the exciting new Rectangle Stitched Framelits die set for a quick and easy 10% savings! And the Floral Romance Specialty DSP. Oh my goodness – it is simply spectacular!! I hope you like!
