My card today is another pretty creation from my friend Judi Hartbarger! She pulled a sentiment from the Courage & Faith stamp set and paired it with gorgeous Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP! Take a look-see:
Good morning, y’all – and happy LAST DAY of September! We got our Christmas tree up yesterday and it looks really pretty!
I am totally kidding, of course. But…make no mistake – Christmas will be here a-fore ya know it!
But – for a minute – let’s enjoy FALL! And today’s quick and easy card for sure does that. It features gorgeous sunflowers from the Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP and some die cut leaves and a sentiment from the Autumn Expressions bundle. Take a look-see:
Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
The colors in the challenge pointed me right at the gorgeous Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP (re-stocking around 23 Sept!). It’s not even SORT of a burden to play with that gorgeous paper pack so…out it came! And I used the coordinating Autumn Expressions stamp set – but not the dies, this time. Instead – I used the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch to make a quick and easy thank you card. Take a look-see:

Okay – speaking of papers – I used one of my faves from the new Sept-Dec 2024 Mini Catalog – called Splendid Autumn to make a very cool fun fold card – it’s a Window Z-fold card! And – I decorated it with the Autumn Expressions stamp set – and the Autumn Leaves stamp set and coordinating dies! Take a look-see:

One of the NEW papers that is occupying one of my cabinet drawers is the stunning Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP – and it is INDEED “splendid”! For today’s sneak peek card, I added some sentiments and die cuts from the coordinating Autumn Expressions bundle! And it’ll ALL be available on 4 Sept in the new Sep-Dec 2024 Mini catalog. Take a look-see:

I did a quick video on how to make this one, which is posted on Instagram. You can see it on YouTube right here!
I started by adhering a piece of the Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base using Liquid Glue.
Next, I used the frame die from the coordinating Autumn Expressions set to cut out two pieces of a different – floral – design from the DSP.
Using Black Stampin’ Dimensionals – I adhered the two die cuts to the top and bottom of the card front.
On a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, I stamped the tree-rings image from Autumn Expressions in Mossy Meadow. I stamped it multiple times – letting the rings overlap. Note: I covered as much of the cardstock as I needed to so that when I cut out the largest Stylish Shapes banner – the entire thing would be covered with the rings.
When the ink was REALLY REALLY dry, I rubbed it with my Embossing Buddy and stamped the Autumn Expressions sentiment in Versamark Ink.
I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it using the Heat Tool. When it was cool, I cut it out with the largest Stylish Shapes banner die.
I used the dies to cut out two boughs from Mossy Meadow, one bough from Wild Wheat and one leaf from Copper Clay cardstocks.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the leaves.
I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow (aka the Farrah Fawcett bow!) and adhered it with some Liquid Glue.
Then I adhered the sentiment with double-stacked Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Earth Tones Shimmer Gems in Copper Clay and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped one of the large sentiments from Autumn Expressions in Copper Clay on a Basic White panel. Over the top, I stamped the leaf image from the set in stamped-off-once Mossy Meadow ink. Then I added another Copper Clay Earth Tones Shimmer Gems.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Autumn Expressions leaf in full-strength Mossy Meadow ink on the front…
…and more Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Okay – I think it’s pretty obvious that Splendid Autumn is going to be one of my – and YOUR! – favorite Suites in the new catalog! Between the Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP…
…and the coordinating Autumn Expressions bundle – it’s a clear winner!!
I can’t wait for you to be able to pick it up on 4 Sept!! 🙂
