My card today features a couple of fun Online Exclusives that you can get right now! The Swirled Designs stamp set and Friendly Foliage set came together to make a pretty, clean and simple card for a friend. Take a look-see!
The layout was inspired by the Try a Sketch on Tuesday challenge.

I started out by consulting my Color Coach! I wanted five colors that would work to make a monochromatic swath of color!
With that – I used the watercolor swatch image from the Swirled Designs set to stamp a strip of color on a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock.
Starting at the bottom, I stamped the image in Pretty Peacock. Then I cleaned it, flipped the image 180 degrees and stamped it in Lost Lagoon. I repeated that with Summer Splash, Coastal Cabana and, finally, Pool Party ink. Note: flipping the image each time makes for nicer edges, I think.
I inked the big Friendly Foliage image in Pretty Peacock and stamped the card front.
I also stamped the Friendly Foliage sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink.
Up in the corner, I stamped a small leaf from Friendly Foliage three times in Pool Party – again turning the image with each stamp.
Using the bullet end of a Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Write Marker – I added doodle-dots here and there around the large leafy image. I did the same with the Pool Party Stampin’ Write Marker around the smaller leaves. Note: our Stampin’ Write Markers are being discontinued – and ALL the color family sets are ON SALE!! Grab ’em up quick! 🙂
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pretty Peacock mat, added five Lost Lagoon Earthy Matte Dots and the card front was done!
For the inside, I stamped a second Friendly Foliage sentiment in Pretty Peacock on a Basic White panel. In two corners, I stamped the small leaf in Pool Party ink. Then I added doodle dots with the Pool Party Stampin’ Write Marker and a few Lost Lagoon Earthy Matte Dots!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the small Friendly Foliage leaf – and doodle dots! – in Pool Party on the front…
…and again on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I love the images and sentiments in the Friendly Foliage set (and the bundled dies are pretty awesome, too!). And Swirled Designs lets you add texture and fun to your cards – this was an easy way to add some watercolor-y elements! Our Color Coach – there’s a copy of it in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog (page 136) or you can purchase one that SPINS!! – is an awesome way to pick the colors for all your projects!
