Good morning and Happy Monday! We made it home safely on Saturday and I spent yesterday in my craft room! It was wonderful to get a chance – finally! – to play with my new goodies! I got busy busy and made a bunch of cards! We’re headed back out of town – the Mouse is calling from Orlando! – and so….TODAY is…get-ready-to-leave-again day! Yikes!
Today’s card is a look-see at the new Coneflower Celebration bundle – one of several new goodies in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog! I paired the pretty flower with some Floral Delight DSP – one of my faves that, happily 🥰, carried over into the Online Exclusives. Take a look-see:
The layout for this one was loosely inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge!
I did a quick video on how to make this pretty fun fold card, which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
I started with some gingham paper from the sweet Floral Delight DSP that I matted on Old Olive for the card front.
I tore a 1″ wide strip of the burlap-y paper from the Floral Delight down to about 3 3/8″ long – and adhered it near the top of the card front with Liquid Glue.
I matted a small piece of Basic White cardstock on Old Olive and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock, I stamped the large coneflower image from Coneflower Celebration in Pretty in Pink ink. Then I used the large die – it cuts TWO shapes at once in a sort of “tag” – to cut it out.
Then I stamped the large flower again in Pretty in Pink on the OTHER end of the die cut. Using Paper Snips, I cut the two flowers apart – and then trimmed off the flower center of the second stamped image. You can see that – better than I can describe it! – in the video I linked above.
I cut out another flower – this time using the detailed die – from Pretty in Pink cardstock. Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere all three die cuts together – with the trimmed-down one on the bottom and the detailed die cut on the top. Should I say that you can see that in the video or…is that obvious?? 🙂
I cut out a Pecan Pie flower center – there’s a die for that! – and used a Pecan Pie Stampin’ Write Marker to color some of the little “seeds” that the die adds to the flower center as it cuts it out.
I adhered the flower center to the flower with Liquid Glue – then adhered the whole flower to the card front with more Liquid Glue.
I stamped the stem image in Mossy Meadow ink on a piece of Old Olive and cut it out with the stem die in the Coneflower Celebration die set. Then I slid it under the flower and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I cut out two solid leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstock and two detailed leaves from Old Olive cardstock. I adhered them together with Liquid Glue and then adhered them to the card front.
I tied a simple bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with some Liquid Glue.
I stamped the Coneflower Celebration sentiment in Pretty In Pink ink on a narrow strip of Basic White cardstock and snipped a banner in the right end.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the sentiment over the bow. Then I added some Tiny Bee Trinkets with little tiny dabs of Liquid Glue and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second Coneflower Celebration sentiment in Pretty in Pink on a Basic White panel. Then I stamped the sweet butterfly from the set in Daffodil Delight ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Pretty in Pink card base, adhered the card front with Liquid Glue, too, and the card front was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Coneflower Celebration butterfly on the front…
…and more of the Floral Delight DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Coneflowers are one of my favorite flowers – the butterflies LOVE them! – and they last forever! AND they come back! What’s NOT to love?! And with the Coneflower Celebration bundle you can make ALL the pretties!! Of course, the Floral Delight DSP is…perfect for all your summer-y projects!
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
On our last morning in the hotel, Wayne made several trips out to the truck with multiple loads.
Don’t judge – even one night in a hotel takes a LOT of “stuff” with one dog. And there’s even MORE with TWO!
The kids didn’t know that they couldn’t see him from the window.
Can you see him?!? Where’d he go?!
I’m LOOKING I’m LOOKING!
It’s hard to be short and have to depend on your brother.
Who hasn’t QUITE accepted his big-brother duties…. LOL

Such a pretty card! Love that flower die cut, the layering is perfect! Poor kids, it’s hard when dad leaves and you don’t know where he went! 🙂
Yes – and ONLY the mom is left. What to do what to do?!? Thanks, Amy – this is a fun bundle to play with! 🙂
What a beautiful flower and I love those tiny bees. Are you taking your children with you to see the Mouse? I miss those days.
The fur-kids are at Doggy Camp! I don’t think they’d be very welcome at the Grand Floridian! And they’d be so bored!! Thanks, Karen! 🙂
I thought this bundle was so pretty and unique when I saw it in the new catalog! I have been wondering why more bloggers are not using/showing it (?). You have definitely done the bundle justice with your lovely creation! Thank you for the inspiration!
Thanks very much, Barb!! It’s a wonderful bundle!! 🙂
Boy, you are a traveling gal!! Glad that you have a “fun” trip coming up…..nice to be with your SU friends again! What’cha doing with the “kids”?? Have a nice time with SU & looking forward to seeing some good ideas from the new catalog.
The “kids” went to a doggy spa for the week – Finn is swimming and Addy is…trying to figure things out! Thanks so much, Karen! 🙂
