Stampin’ Up! Sweet Jar of Happiness Birthday Card

Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! Hope your week is going well!  Have you placed your first order with the NEW Stampin’ Rewards system in place?  And started to gather up Stampin’ Rewards to use on future orders?!  I hope so – it’s going to be so fun to SPEND those rewards when you’re ready!

Since I’ve been in Colorado and not able to make cards myself, my amazing Critters-N-Creatin’ Krew teammies have been lending me a hand.  They’re pretty aesome that way!  Today’s card is from my friend Judi Hartbarger.  She made a sweet birthday card using the Sweet Jar Bundle – which is a NEW Online Exclusive that you’ll be able to pick up on 6 May!  With some Everyday Happiness DSP (available NOW) and…the Spotlight on Nature dies (one of my favorite things and ALSO available right now!) – it’s super cute and super easy!  Take a look-see:

The new Sweet Jar Bundle has all sorts of fun “ingredients” that you can to the “inside” of your cute treat jar!  Fill it with cookies, birthday candles, hearts, 4-leaf-clovers – all with one cool photopolymer stamp set!  And there’s mix-and-match sentiments to go along with!!

To make this cute card, use Liquid Glue to adhere a pretty plaid piece of Everyday Happiness DSP to a Basic White mat to make the card front.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the jar and the lid images from the set in Pecan Pie ink.

The cookies are stamped in Pecan Pie ink – and the “chips” in Early Espresso ink. Gotta love a photopolymer set, huh?

Use the bundled Sweet Jar Punch to cut out the jar and the lid.

Use the second-from-largest Spotlight on Nature die (the one with the “ribbed” edge) to cut out a “cookie” from a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock.  Then stamp it all over with the chocolate chip stamp – in Early Espresso ink.

Use Liquid Glue to adhere the die cut cookie to the card front.  Adhere the lid to the jar with more Liquid Glue and tie a length of Lost Lagoon Soft Cording around it – tying a simple overhand knot on the front.

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the jar to the card front, add some Iridescent Foil Gems and…that’s it for the card front!

For the inside, stamp the Sweet Jar sentiment in Pecan Pie ink on a Basic White panel.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere a strip of Everyday Happiness DSP across the bottom of the panel.

Use Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of a Pecan Pie card base, pop the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front is done!

The Basic White Medium Envelope chocolate chips in Early Espresso on the front…

…and more of the Everyday Happiness DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Didn’t Judi make a “sweet” card using the new Sweet Jar Bundle (get this one on 6 May)?!  It’s such a cute bundle – and with so many possibilities for “filling” your jar!  And – even though this uses the birthday sentiment – I think it’s a great candidate as a Father’s Day card, too, don’t you!?  The pretty Eveyday Happiness DSP has ALL the great colors and designs – love this PLAID!!  And – Spotlight on Nature – one of my favorite sets – is CARRYING OVER! Whoo-hoo!!
