Mornin’, y’all – happy Sunday! Hope your weekend is going well. I know you’re wondering, so…..nope. We did NOT have brisket for dinner. The new smoker cooks WAY slower than the older (much smaller) cooker. So…maybe tonight!! 🙂
My card for today is a CASE of a sample in the online store from the Iconic Imagery bundle! Which is a NEW Online Exclusive product that’s maybe a little bitty bit of a fly-over for you! But – I think (hope!) this card – where I paired it up with some Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP – will help you see it for the awesome little bundle it is! Take a look-see:
I started by stamping a few leaves from the Iconic Imagery set in Pecan Pie ink on a Crumb Cake panel. Then I embossed it in the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
Using a Small Blending Brush, I added Pecan Pie ink – lightly! – to the embossed patterns of the panel and popped it onto the front of a Basic White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next up, I used the big label die in the bundled Iconic Imagery die set to cut out a label from a polka-dot piece of Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP.
Using a couple of Dimensionals on the right end – and a little Liquid Glue on the left, I adhered the label to the card front.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the leaves image a few times in Mossy Meadow ink. I used the fill image in stamped-off-once Crushed Curry ink and then cut them out with the coordinating die.
I stamped the oak leaf image three times in Crushed Curry and cut them out as well. And – I cut out five Pecan Pie twigs (you know these are my faves!).
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered some of the die cut leaves on the left side of the label.
I tied a simple bow with two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with a dab of Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Iconic Imagery sentiment in Pecan Pie ink- and adhered it over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the words “for” and “you” (they’re two separate stamps – which is awesome with this sentiment-builder set!) in Pecan Pie ink on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and cut it out with the small label die in the set.
I set that second sentiment label in place and used it as a guide to adhere the remainder of the die cut leaves – and those twigs!!
Then I adhered the sentiment with a Dimensional and a little Liquid Glue.
I added some beauteous Pecan Pie Ribboned Adhesive-backed Dots and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the Iconic Imagery leaf in Mossy Meadow and stamped-off-once Crushed Curry ink on a Basic White panel – and added another Pecan Pie Ribboned dot!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pecan Pie mat and into the Basic Whtie card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Iconic Imagery leaf on the front…
…and more of the Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I know! It’s such a pretty card – and it’s all thanks to the Iconic Imagery bundle. Whoda thunk?! It’s such an unassuming bundle – but…look at the possibilities! Add some pretty papers – like the Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP – and maybe some embossing – like….Exposed Brick 3D Embossing and….boom!!

Ahhh – the new Smoker smell. aka – NOTHING.
And the look! SOOO clean and pretty before you use them the first time! You can be lulled into thinking that you’ll STILL be able to see thru that glass in a few months!!
Finn is NOT impressed by the new smell (aka – nothing to smell here YET!) or how pretty it is.
He wants to know if grease might drip out the bottom!
