Good morning and happy Tuesday! Hope your week is going well!
I’ve got a quick and easy card – that would work well for a guy in your life if you needed that – from the Frosted Forest stamp set and the bundled masks. I grabbed a sentiment from the Everyday Greetings stamp set – and a piece of Cajun Craze paper from the Iconic Celebrations DSP, too! And – these are ALL Online Exclusives – so…you’re not going to find them in the catalog – only in the Online Store. Take a look-see:
I did a quick video on how to make this one, which is posted on Instagram. You can see it on YouTube right here!
This one is quick so…buckle up!
I started by adhering a piece of Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ DSP on a Pecan Pie mat for the card front.
On a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, I stamped the large tree image from Frosted Forest in Mossy Meadow ink.
I used the bundled masks – there are three for this tree and three for the pine tree images – to color the tree.
I used the #3 mask from Frosted Forest, and a Small Blending Brush, to color the tree leaves in Mossy Meadow – it’s more “detailed” so…I made it darker. The #2 mask is ALSO done with Mossy Meadow – but lighter! And then I added Pecan Pie ink to the trunk with the #1 mask.
In the top corner, I stamped the Frosted Forest bird in Pecan Pie and colored it with the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend.
I added the Everyday Greetings sentiment in Cajun Craze. Note: There’s also a Thank You sentiment in Everyday Greetings OR there’s a sweet birthday sentiment in Frosted Forest and you could use ANY of those if that’s what you need! 🙂
I matted the panel on Pecan Pie and then on Basic White using Liquid Glue.
I popped the double-matted panel onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, added three gold Adhesive-backed Metallic Gems and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped and colored the Frosted Forest tree on the edge of a Basic White panel. And I added the bird image in Pecan Pie – colored with the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend. Note: in the short video linked below, you’ll see I colored THAT tree darker – so – you can for sure do whatever darkness-level makes your heart happy!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pecan Pie mat and into my Basic White card base, adhered the card front with Liquid Glue and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Frosted Forest bird on the front…
…and more of the Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I love the Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ DSP for this card, y’all! And – there are multiple designs in the pack that you could use – without even modifying the color palette!! – to make multiples of it. And the Frosted Forest bundle – which includes the stamp set, the dies AND the masks – is wunnermus! You don’t even need to dies for THIS card but…go ahead and snag that 10% bundle discount. You WILL want the dies so…might as well save some cheddar!
I hope you like!

Bonus Days comes just once a year – and it’s a Two-Part Event! Part One – you EARN (aka – SHOP. I mean – you were going to do that anyway, right?!). And…when you shop between 3–31 July 2024 and spend $50 (before shipping & tax) you’ll earn a $5 coupon right from Stampin’ UP!! NOTE: You’re going to get your coupons in an email (see the deets below). You’ll want to make SURE you save all your coupons because you can REDEEM them (and we mean ALL of them) between 1–31 August 2024! That’s Part 2 of the Bonus Days event.
Now – There’s no limit to how many coupons you can earn! So – get busy! Cuz – the way this year is flying by – Bonus Days will be gone before you know it!
Here’s the Deets:
PART 1: EARN
3–31 July 2024 (11:59 p.m. (MT))
- Earn a $5 coupon for every $50 spent (before shipping and tax).
- All coupon codes will be emailed right after a qualifying purchase has been made. You must have a customer account with a valid email address to earn coupons when you shop. NOTE: that means…if you don’t have one already – this would be a GREAT time to set up a Customer Account at Stampin’ UP!

You must add items to your cart and complete your purchase during the earning period.
- There’s no limit to the number of coupon codes you can earn per order or throughout the duration of the earning period. WHOO-HOO!!
- You must use a valid email address during checkout in order to receive your coupon code.

Thirteen states – and Puerto Rico! – will have Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states! BOOM!
The states with upcoming tax holidays are: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. So, if you live in one of those states or Puerto Rico, take a second to download the spreadsheet below and mark your calendar!
Here’s the list of states having sales tax holidays, what the dates are and what SU! supplies will qualify for tax free purchases (HINT: Stampin’ Dimensionals qualify in ALL the states! Just sayin’!) during the holiday (click on the image to download a full-size printable page):
Please note: You have to place your order with Stampin’ Up! DURING the tax holiday period in your state in order to receive these items tax-free (so – that’s from MIDNIGHT on the first day to MIDNIGHT on the last day of the tax holiday). Also, keep in mind that this is a STATE SALES TAX holiday and the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.
For those wondering about Georgia, Louisiana, New Jersey and Wisconsin, those states will NOT have the sales tax holiday this year.
