Stampin’ Up! A Little Latte Love Sneak Peek Thank You Card

Good morning – I’m typing this as I watch the Super Bowl.  Yes – actually WATCHING the game – AND the commercials!  Which means…it took me about 3 hours to type something that usually only takes about 45 minutes!  LOL!  I was rooting for Mahomes (so…the Chiefs)…

My card today features a sneak peek at the A Little Latte Suite – a new Online Exclusive available on 5 March (or…right now if you join the team!).  I used the fun A Little Latte DSP and the coordinating Latte Love bundle PLUS the Natural 3/8″ Polka Dot Trim and the Adhesive-backed Swirl Dots.  Yes.  Yes I DID use every piece of the suite!!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one was inspired by the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.

And the color palette is from the Color Throwdown challenge.

And – I posted a quick video on Instagram this morning on how to make this card – check it out right here!

I started with some fun striped paper from the new A Little Latte DSP that I matted on Pecan Pie cardstock for the card front.

Next, I stamped a sentiment from Latte Love in Lost Lagoon on a smaller piece of Basic White cardstock.

I matted the panel on Pecan Pie and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using Stampin’ Seal +, I adhered a loop-d-doo of the new Natural 3/8″ Polka Dot Ribbon.

Using the die in the Latte Love set, I cut out a mug from one of the pieces of A Little Latte DSP.  This paper is so pretty – lots of fun images – including the ones that can be cut with the dies (I love when you can do that!)

I adhered the mug over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals – some single and some double-stacked (where needed to make up the height differences).

I used the little mug die in the Latte Love set to cut out five mugs.  Note – there are two little mug dies in the set – but they face different directions. I wanted the mugs all going the same way so….used one die, five times!  I cut three in Old Olive and two in Lost Lagoon.

I adhered the cups across the bottom of the panel – the Lost Lagoon mugs with Liquid Glue and the Old Olive with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

I added three new Adhesive-backed Swirl Dots (coming with the suite on 5 March 2024). and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Latte Love sentiment in Lost Lagoon on a Basic White panel.  Over the top, I stamped the heart swirl in stamped-off-once Pecan Pie ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pecan Pie mat and into my Old Olive card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Latte Love swirl in Pecan Pie ink on the front…

…and more of the A Little Latte DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Well – this is a super fun suite of goodies – I think it’ll be a fave with coffee drinkers AND non-coffee drinkers alike!  With all the fun sentiments and images in the Latte Love stamp set with the dies that cut out THOSE images as well as some of the images in the A Little Latte DSP – it’s a winner!

Now – going to watch the rest of the game.  We’re headed into the second half and ….it’s looking rough on KC, but…they just had a SWEET turnover from a punt – resulting in KC’s first TD!  Long as there’s game – there’s hope!   And remember – in order to REMEMBER something – you have to FORGET something.  To – make room!  LOL!
