Stampin’ Up! CAS Softly Stippled Roses Sneak Peek Birthday Card

Good morning and happy Monday!  I just took a look at the calendar and…three weeks from TODAY is….yep.  Christmas!!  And I am totally ready.

Well.  Almost.

I mean – I WOULD be ready if I’d stop ADDING things to the list of stuff to make/give/do! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Today’s card is NOT a Christmas card – it’s a Sneaky Peek at another gorgeous new bundle coming soon in the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog!  It’s called Stippled Roses and…it ALSO has a coordinating paper – called the Softly Stippled DSP.  And – that paper is going to be…FREE!  🎉🎉🎉  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

And the colors are from the Color Throwdown Challenge.

I started with a Pebbled Path piece of paper from the Softly Stippled DSP – that I matted on a SECOND design, in Pool Party, from the same pack!

So – here’s the deets on this paper!  In Jan – Feb, during the Sale-A-Bration, you’ll be able to select this paper as a FREE gift from SU with a $50 purchase (before shipping & tax)!  And – wait for it…it coordinates perfectly (like – on purpose!!) with the Stippled Roses bundle.

And…guess what??  The Stippled Roses bundle is…$54!  So – BOOM!  Instant free paper!!  It’s like it was PLANNED! 😎😎😎

Any who…

Using the Stippled Roses dies, I cut out three Soft Sea Foam leaves (two large and one small) and…a bevy of Petal Pink flowers!

Using Liquid Glue – I adhered the smaller leaf die in the center of the card front.

Next, I stamped a Stippled Roses sentiment in Pool Party ink on more of the Pebbled Path Softly Stippled DSP and then matted it on the same Pool Party paper that I’d used for my larger mat.

I adhered the matted sentiment over the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the other two die cut leaves to the card front.

I adhered all the die cut Stippled Roses to the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

We’ve got a great new embellishment pack in the new catalog, called Rainbow Adhesive-backed Dots and they come in a bunch of wunnermus colors!  I added a few in Pool Party to the card front – and one in Petal Pink on each of the middle (larger) die cut flowers.  And…the card front was done!

For the inside, I stamped a smaller rose from Stippled Roses in Petal Pink ink in the corner of a Basic White panel.  Using the Light Soft Sea Foam and Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends, I added just a HINT of color to the image!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to another piece of the Pool Party Softly Stippled DSP and into my Petal Pink card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Stippled Rose on the front…

…and more Softly Stippled DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! Y’all – I can’t decide which “part” of this Stippled Roses bundle I like best.  The stamped roses and pretty sentiments are gorgeous but…the DIES!  Oh my gosh!  SOOO perfect! And – the fact that there’s coordinating DSP – that is FREE!?  Hello?!?  Softly Stippled DSP simply needs to be on your gotta-get-it-all list!
