After the pretty-but-involved fun fold of yesterday – I felt like we needed a cardstock-palate-cleanser – so…I swung the pendulum ALL the way back with a really clean-and-simple Christmas card! It uses the Cottage Wreaths set – and is decorated with some glittery Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder flowers. Take a look-see!

This is a quick one, y’all! It would be great for making multiples for your Christmas Card mailings this year!
I started by stamping the twig wreath from Cottage Wreaths in Early Espresso on a Basic White panel.
I stamped the sentiment from Cottage Wreaths in Real Red at the bottom of the wreath. Then I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Real Red mat.
Using the larger flower in the Merriest Frame Hybrid Embossing Folder, I cut out two from Real Red and one from White 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the three flowers to the card front.
In the middles of each flower, I added a gold Festive Pearl – and, uhm…the card front was done! 😳
Yes – I am training my clean-and-simple muscles. And it’s not easy, I’m telling you. I might or might not have played with adding Red Rhinestones…but, I stopped myself just in time!
On the inside, I stamped the smaller poinsettia from the Merriest Moments stamp set twice (turning it a little for the second stamp) in Real Red in the bottom corner of a Basic White panel. I added three gold Festive Pearls to the center of the flower.
I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Real Red mat and into my Thick Basic White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Merriest Moments poinsettia in Real Red, with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker’d flower center, on the front…
…and a little of the gorgeous Boughs of Holly DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! It’s out of my wheelhouse by a long-shot, but…I love it! That Cottage Wreaths image is one of my faves – and it’s a perfect base for those glimmer Merriest Frames flowers, don’t you think??
