Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Woodland All Bundled Up with Video Tutorial

Morning, my crafty friends! I hope you’re having a great weekend so far.

I wanted to make another plug for an Online Host Club – it’s a great way to gather up some goodies a little at a time and earn free Stampin’ Up! products while you’re at it!  If anyone is interested, I’ll get one fired up in time to take advantage of Sale-A-Bration!  Let me know!

My card today debuts the uber-adorable All Bundled Up stamp set and some pretty wintery paper from the Lights Aglow Specialty DSP!  A little texture from the Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder is a great starting point.  Take a look-see:

That little moose is perfect for the Global Design Project theme challenge this week!

And – I made this card last night on my YouTube video!  If you were able to watch live, I appreciate you spending part of your weekend with me.  If not and you’d like to take a look, here ’tis on my YouTube channel!

I started by embossing a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock in the Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder and matting it on Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the card front.

Then I used the Next-to-Largest narrow Stitched Rectangle Die to cut two pieces of Lights Aglow Specialty DSP that I adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the All Bundled Up moose in Early Espresso on a piece of Crumb Cake.  Then I cut it out with the Fourth-from-Largest Deckled Rectangle die.

I stamped the All Bundled Up snowflakes in Whisper White ink around the image.

I used Watercolor Pencils in Cherry Cobbler, White and Early Espresso to color the moose.  His hat is straight Cherry Cobbler.  Then I colored all his scarf with the White pencil – and went over alternating squares with the Cherry Cobbler pencil.  A little bit of Early Espresso here and there to accentuate the shading was all that it needed.

I wrapped some Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine around the panel, securing it in back with a Glue Dot, and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I tied two pieces of the Twine around the twine and tied a simple bow.

On a strip of Crumb Cake cardstock, I stamped the All Bundled Up sentiment in Early Espresso ink. I cut the sentiment and then edged the two pieces with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker.  I popped the two pieces onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a Classic Matte Dot that I’d colored with a Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the snowflakes from All Bundled Up in Whisper White ink across the top of a Crumb Cake panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat and into my Early Espresso card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the All Bundled Up snowflakes in Crumb Cake ink on the front…

…and more Lights Aglow Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I like mooses on cards almost as much as I like pines and pine cones!  And the All Bundled Up set has a perfect image – PLUS a few others that are just too cute.

I also REALLY love the Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder – those trees are so fun and they really pop on this Crumb Cake card front!

Finn Fan Fix

Yesterday I was working in the house and Wayne called to tell me that there were 50 or so butterflies on our flower bed by the vegetable garden! 😳

I hurried out to see and he was so right!  Oh my goodness!

It was amazing, y’all!  I felt like I was in one of those butterfly enclosures!

And – as if that weren’t enough…THIS happened!

Seriously….Best.  Flower.  Mix.  EVER!

I stood there for 10 minutes just grinning like a fool!

Watched your video replay. Love your card designs and cheerful banter. We too have hummingbirds. Mom pop and baby come to our feeder. They are so fun to watch. We also have a milkweed garden for the Monarch butterflies. We live in the eastern part of PA. Look forward to your videos. Have a great week.

    • stampsnlingers

Oh – how wonderful, Sandy! I need to plant some milkweed, I guess! Habitat for everyone!! Thank you so much! 🙂

  3. Hi Mary, well it looks like butterflies like your Zinnias, they are lovely flowers, we had some in our garden when we were growing up in Adelaide, but I’ve never seen so many lovely butterflies altogether,(there must be a name for it), what is the bird please? he looks good too! Cheers and Thankyou, Marilyn, now in the UK.

    • stampsnlingers

That is a hummingbird – one of my favorite things on this planet! They are just amazing! And so bold – they buzz us in the garden all the time. But they’re seldom as cooperative as this one for photo shoots! 🙂 Thank you so much, Marilyn! 🙂

  4. Sue Floyd

Amazing! Beautiful too that you were able to capture the butterflies and hummingbird in photos.

I love love love this Moose Set. It was the first one I bought out of the Mini Catalog. But I had no clue what to do with Him until I saw your card. I love what you die with the moose, and I love your card. I am going to try it in the Cherry Cobbler and then in the evergreen like you said. Thanks so much for sharing.
