Stampin’ Up! Four Season Floral Mini Paper Pumpkin Gift Box

Morning, y’all!  How goes your week?  Ours is moving along apace – we’re watching the impending arrival of AUGUST!  Can you even believe that??

August will bring a couple of things Stampin’ Up!-wise….

With all that lead in  – you MIGHT think I’ve got another sneak peek from the new catty for you today.  But…nope.  I’ve got a super quick and easy #simplestamping project for you!  It’s actually kind of a two-parter. First, I made a cool (and QUICK!) set of ten notecards and envelopes using the Flowers for Every Season Cards and More set, plus the Four Season Floral stamp set from the 2020 Beginner Brochure!  Take a look-see:

The second part is an equally quick-and-easy gift box that I made with a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box!

The Four Season Floral Card collection contains everything you need to make that cool pile of note cards!

In fact – the collection would be a great start for anyone new to the art of crafting (cuz it’s got the “basics” you need right in it!) OR as a gift to someone who might want to explore the wonderful world of card making!

I sat down to put the cards together and…30 minutes later…had all ten note cards and envelopes completed!  I made birthday cards, thank you cards and “For You” cards!  All with Magenta Madness or Just Jade stamped sentiments and flowers! No die cuts – no stickers – no fuss!  Just quick and pretty note cards for a lot of occasions!

I stamped the inside of each note card with one of the coordinating flower images in Just Jade or Magenta Madness – and then stamped the same image on the front of the envelopes.

The envelopes come with the flap already decorated! 🙂

So – you could totally stop there and you’d have an awesome group of cards to use when you need them!  Note:  these are small notecards – like…gift insert size.  NOT full A2 sized….

…which is why the whole stack fits PERFECTLY in a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box!

To decorate the box, I went beyond the Four Season Floral collection into the coordinating Flowers For Every Season Suite!  I started by trimming a large card from the Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Card Pack.

Then I stamped a couple of sentiments from the Field of FLowers stamp set  – the large word in Just Jade and the two smaller sentiments in Bumble Bee ink.

I matted it on Bumble Bee and adhered it to the top of the box with Stampin’ Seal.

I matted four strips of Flowers for Every Season 6″ x 6″ DSP on Bumble Bee and then adhered them to each side of the box.

Finally, I wrapped some Misty Moonlight 1/4″ 2020-2022 In Color Ribbon around the box and tied a semi-expert (read…not-at-all-expert!) bow!

I added a single Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dot and…

Et Voila!  My gift is ready to go!  I do hope you’ll take a look at this wonderful card collection….you can buy the Four Season Floral stamp set and the Flowers for Every Season Cards & More pack on their own if you’ve got all the “staples” already!  And, if you gift the note cards to someone in a pretty, decorated Mini Paper Pumpkin Kit, you MIGHT want to get TWO of those Flowers for Every Season Cards & More packs – you’re going to want to have a set of the note cards for yourself!  I hope you like!

Once word got out that there’s an Aussie spa – WITH warm water, thank you very much! – Finn’s sister Scout said how much she’d been pining for a bath.

Not really.  HER interest level was low – but her parents….THEY were happy to bring her over!

We left Finn in the house until she was all clean.  No – this is SCOUT!  But…looks a lot like Finn, doesn’t she?!?

And then?  We released the Bruiser-Bullet!

The reunion was boisterous!

There MIGHT have been a little inadvertent….piddle….

Once the furor settled down and the fur-peeps realized that it was WAAAY too hot for that nonsense….

Peas in a pod!  Except Scout is  – literally! – half his size!!

And so is her tongue!
