Stampin’ Up! Remember Peaceful Painted Poppies Thank You

Hey y’all – happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is going well!  We went out to do a little shopping yesterday – all masked up and sanitized.   We got needed stuff, but…it’s exhausting.  Guess I’m out of shopping-shape! 🙁 I’m going back to my quiet social isolation.  It’s much more relaxing! 🙂

My card today is a thank you – using the wunnermus Peaceful Moments bundle with a little help from the Painted Poppies stamp set and Peaceful Poppies DSP.  Take a look-see:

The layout – and really the colors and flowers and…okay – most of it! – was inspired by the sketch and photo at this week’s FUSION challenge.

And I played along with the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge! I went down the middle and right column – but…one could probably make the case for a full-card BINGO!!

I started with a piece of the gorgeous Peaceful Poppies DSP and cut the largest Stitched So Sweetly rectangle die from the middle.  I matted the remaining paper on a Basic Black panel.  Then I popped the die cut piece back in place using Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used SNAIL to adhere a length of Poppy Parade 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon across the panel. I used two more shorter pieces and adhered them in a sort-of-remembrance-ribbon-shape with Glue Dots.

I stamped a Peaceful Moments sentiment in Tuxedo Black on Whisper White and cut it with the next to smallest Stitched So Sweetly rectangle die and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

I used the Poppy Moments Dies to cut a large, solid flower from a piece of Poppy Parade Peaceful Poppies DSP.  Using the small splotch stamp in the Painted Poppies stamp set, I stamped around the flower with Poppy Parade ink.  I cut the detailed flower – and two flower centers – from Basic Black cardstock.

I adhered the detailed flower die cut to the solid flower, using Liquid Glue on just the middle of the flower, and gently curled the petals.

Then I adhered the larger flower center with Liquid Glue and popped the smaller center on with a Black Stampin’ Dimensional.

I popped the flower on with more Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish off the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the poppies image from Painted Poppies in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink across the bottom of a Whisper White panel.  I colored the flowers with my Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend Combo pack.  Colored some in Light and some in Dark.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Basic Black mat and into my Thick Whisper White card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Painted Poppies on the front…

…and more of the Peaceful Poppies DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  How much do you love the Peaceful Poppies DSP?  It’s just stunning, isn’t it??!  Well – it will be GONE soon!  It’s not carrying over –  and it’s only available while supplies last, so…get some (more!) now!   Fortunately – the Peaceful Moments and Painted Poppies bundles are carrying over so…..whew!  I hope you like!
