Stampin’ Up! Share What You Love Varied Vases

Mornin’, y’all – it’s Hawwmp Day!

Or – is it?

Difficult to say on a 4-day week.  Regardless – I’ll take it! 🙂

My card today is quick and easy – thanks to the Share What You Love Specialty DSP and some pretty little images and sentiments from the Varied Vases stamp set.  Take a look-see!

The layout  – and the flowers and hints of Grapefruit Grove – are from the Fusion challenge this week!

This one will go quick – so don’t blink!

I started by matting a beautiful piece of Share What You Love Specialty DSP on Grapefruit Grove using Liquid Glue.

Around the matted panel, I wrapped a length of Very Vanilla Lace Trim, securing it in the back with scotch tape.

Around the lace, I wrapped some Linen Thread a few times – again securing it in the back with scotch tape.

The sentiment, from Varied Vases, is stamped in Grapefruit Grove on Very Vanilla, and then cut with the larger label die in the new Lakeside Framelits.  I edged the label with my Grapefruit Grove Stampin’ Write Marker and popped it over the Linen Thread with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a copper Leaves Trinket to the end of the sentiment with a Glue Dot, and then added a Linen Thread double-loop Billie Moan bow over the top.

And – that was it!   DSP steals the show!

On the inside, I used Mint Macaron and Coastal Cabana ink to stamp a field of Varied Vases flowers around the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel.  Tuxedo Black Memento Ink gave each of the flowers some definition, using the two-step images in the set.  I added some Tuxedo Black leaves, too!  Finally – I added a second Varied Vases sentiment in Grapefruit Grove.

I adhered the panel to a Grapefruit Grove mat and into my Coastal Cabana card base with Liquid Glue, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got more of the Varied Vases flowers on the front…

…and a little more of the Share What You Love Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Folks – this Varied Vases bundle (with the Vases Builder Punch – that I didn’t use on this card) is so versatile and pretty!  It’s really shaping up to be a go-to-favorite.  And who ISN’T loving the Share What You Love Specialty DSP?  Get yourself ready to get the new set – and you can still get the Share What You Love Special Release bundles!  Hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

Tuesday was a big day – for me.  Work work work.  And dentist.

For Finn?  He had to sleep in the kennel again while I went to the dentist.

When I got home, we both met and chatted with our potential horse-sitter (for when we go on the cruise in July!).

Finn loved her a lot.

He turned himself inside out to tell her so. 🙂

After she left, we had to do a little property-patrolling.

Just to check that all was well – and close the gate!

He takes this part of his job very seriously, indeed.

Very.

Seriously.

Also – he like a good golf-cart ride when it’s hot – so that works out perfectly!

He’s going to the Puppy Tubs for an extended stay! He’ll like that TONS better than being in the kennel all day. But – it’s good he likes her – dogs being good judges of character! Thanks, Amy! 🙂
