Stampin’ Up! Everyday Fragrant Flowers Fair Just a Note Card

Good morning and happy Monday!  This is a short – and yet busy week!  I’m leavin’….on a jet plane…on Thursday – headed out to sunny SoCal for OnStage 2026!  Whoo-hoo!  We’ve got quite the contingent of Critter’s and Krew team members going – I can’t wait!  I’ll share whatever sneak peeks I can – AND…prolly…some “b-roll” of our antics! I mean – when you get us all together – add coffee, tea and CHOCOLATE…there’s bound to be antics – it not outright shenanigans!  😳😂

Today’s card uses a couple of pretty florals – the Flowers Fair background and the Fragrant Layers bundle – both Online Exclusives!  And – I pulled it all together and used Everyday Arches dies to create a spotlight!  Take a look-see:

The layout was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I did a quick video on how to make this card –  which is posted on Instagram.  If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!

I started by stamping the Flowers Fair image in Early Espresso ink on a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Basic Beige cardstock.

I used the second-from-smallest Everyday Arches die…

…to cut out a section of the panel – the spotlight.

Then I matted the panel on Cloud Cover cardstock to make the card front.

I wrapped a length of Cloud Cover 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon around the panel, adhering it in the back with Mini Glue Dots.

I colored the Everyday Arches piece that I’d cut from the card front using the Dark Cloud Cover, Dark Soft Sea Foam and Light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends.

Using the next larger Everyday Arches die, I cut out a Cloud Cover mat for the spotlight piece.

At the top of the Cloud Cover die cut, I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere a doubled length of Basic Beige 3/8″ Classic Ribbon.  I tied a white Baker’s Twine bow around the ribbon.  Then I adhered the spotlight to the mat with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the matted spotlight onto the card front.

On a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, I stamped the Fragrant Layers sentiment in Early Espresso ink.   Using the banner die in the bundle Fragrant Layers die set, I cut out the sentiment.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the card front.

Then I used the two leaves dies in the Fragrant Layers die set to cut out two Soft Sea Foam leaves, which I slid under the sentiment, securing them with Liquid Glue.

I added some Soft Sea Foam gems from the Shades of Green Hexagons and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a floral image from Fragrant Layers in Early Espresso ink on a Basic Beige panel.  I colored the image with the Dark Cloud Cover, Dark Soft Sea Foam and Light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Soft Sea Foam card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Fragrant Layers image on the front…

…and again on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! I really like background stamps anyway but this Flowers Fair stamp is over-the-top gorgeous!!  It’s perfect for the spotlight technique – and I like how the Everyday Arches die cut gives it a little sumpin’-sumpin’ different, don’t you?  I did need a sentiment – and the Fragrant Layers stamp set – and it’s bundled dies – gave me that and more!  I love the die cut leaves and it’s really handy to have sentiment labels right in the bundle! 🙂

JUST A NOTE!

I’ve added a bunch of goodies to my Retired Shop – be sure to check them out!

Here’s the deets:

– Most of the items are gently used, but are in very good condition. Unless otherwise noted in the listing, packs of Designer Series Paper are “full” packs.

– All stamp sets are cling mount or photopolymer.

– Shipping is $8 per order no matter how much you purchase!

– The items are first come, first served so try to go through the checkout process as quickly as possible so that you don’t miss out on any of the items that you want (the store doesn’t have a way to “hold” things in your cart for you).  If you notice that an item is no longer available when you go through the checkout process, that means that someone else has purchased it and it’s sold out.

– I can only ship to addresses in the US (or to military APO addresses) and USPS tracking will be included

– Items were added to the “Out of Catalog” and “Kits” categories – but be sure to check the other categories, too, if you haven’t in a while!

Happy Shopping!

Stampin’ Up! has some exciting changes coming in the new catalog!

Price Increases Coming

Stampin’ Up! is committed to providing high-quality paper crafting products and a great overall experience—without compromising the quality that Stampin’ Up! is known for.  At the same time, they carefully consider costs and other important factors.  To do this, they regularly review our pricing based on the cost of doing business, global exchange rates, rising supplier costs, and market comparisons.

Due to higher production costs, please expect price increases in the following product categories:

– Select Stampin’ Cut & Emboss product

– Heat Tool

– Cutting & Scoring Blades Multipacks

– Select Coloring Tools

– Storage

– Select Adhesives

– Select Paper products including Envelopes, Basic White Notecards & Envelopes, and Masking Paper

– Designer Series Paper

– Classic Stampin’ Ink Pads and Refills

– Stampin’ Blends

– Select Embellishments, Twines, and Linen Thread

– In addition, Paper Pumpkin subscriptions will also see an upcoming price increase.

We not been given details yet on the specific price increases for the catalog items, we’ll see what we see when we get our hands on the new catalog later this month.  If you’ve been considering purchasing anything on the list, be sure to order before the current catalog ends to get the lower pricing. 😎

Changes to the Upcoming Catalog Timelines

Starting in May, Stampin’ Up! is refreshing the way they share products in print, with a new, streamlined catalog strategy designed to make shopping from their catalogs easier and more intuitive.  Instead of an annual catalog and multiple minis, they are moving to three beautifully designed catalogs per year—each one complete, current, and easy to use on its own.  No more overlapping catalogs!

Each catalog will introduce new products alongside a selection of customer-favorite staples (core products)—such as stamps, ink, paper, tools, and adhesives—bringing the feel of a mini catalog and an annual catalog together in one place.  This balanced approach creates an easy-to-shop print experience, all within a catalog released every four months:

– January–April

– May–August

– September–December

These seasonal catalogs are designed to put products front and center, making it easy for you to browse, discover, and shop by product category.

I’ll be getting to see the new May-August 2026 Catalog SOON (like…next week when I attend OnStage out in California) and I can’t wait to see the new catalogs moving forward.  I think this new streamlined approach is going to be a really good thing!

New Magnetic Ink Pads – and a peek at the new 2026-2028 In Colors!

Beginning in May 2026, Stampin’ Up! will introduce new felt ink pads in a magnetic, stackable case design.

– In 2026, only the new In Colors will be offered in the new magnetic felt pads.

– In 2027, all ink colors will transition to the new magnetic felt pad as part of a planned color revamp, and the current pad style will be phased out.

Importantly, existing ink pads will remain usable throughout this transition—there is no immediate need to replace what you already own. Please be aware, however, that once the transition takes place, the old ink pad design will only be available while supplies last.

The photo above is an early peek at the new 2026-2028 In Colors!  And they look beautiful!!  The NEW Magnetic Ink Pads in the NEW 2026-2028 In Colors will be available to order 5 May 2026!

Check out the new In Colors!

– Crisp Cantaloupe
– Barely Blush
– Golden Glow
– Peaceful Pine
– Hydrangea Hue

Aren’t they so pretty?!  I’m looking forward to getting to preorder these – SOON! – so I can show them to you “in person”!!

Finn Fan Fix

I think little-bitty is tired of her splint.  Tired of plastic wrap on it.  Tired of her Freezer-baggie boot.

WHY do I think this?

Cuz…

Yup -looks right at me and tears it off.

Only a couple more weeks….TTFN
