Happy FriYAY! Hope you’ve had a great week, y’all – and are looking forward to the weekend. Can you believe we’re almost heading into February? Hopefully it’ll come in politely for everyone – there’s talk of another round of winter weather here – so…we’ll see what we see. Isn’t it “in like a lion out like a lamb” or something?!
Today’s card is a CASE of one that I saw in the Online Store – it’s a sample card for the A Round of Hellos stamp set (an Online Exclusive product). It ALSO uses two NEW products – available on 3 March when the new Online Exclusives go live! It’s the Flowers Fair stamp set and the wunnermus Wood Grain Wonders DSP. Take a look-see:
The flowers made me think of The Paper Players challenge this week!
I started by stamping the new Flowers Fair stamp – it’s a gorgeous Background stamp – in Early Espresso ink on a piece of new Wood Grain Wonders DSP. Tip: these large stamps are really perfect for stamp positioners – like our NEW Stampin’ Positioner available as a Joining Special BONUS starting on 3 Feb!
I used my Berry Burst and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends to color some of the flowers and leaves on the image. Then I matted the panel on Early Espresso card stock for the card front.
On a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the A Round of Hellos stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink.
I used the second-from-smallest circle die in the Stylish Shapes die set to cut out the sentiment.
I used Stampin’ Seal+ on the back of the sentiment circle to adhere a loop-d-loop of White with Gold 3/8″ Ribbon (new in the Jan-Apr 2026 Mini catalog).
Then I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added five Berry Burst gems from the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped just a little of the top of the Flowers Fair stamp in Early Espresso in the bottom corner of a Basic Beige panel. I colored it with the Berry Burst Stampin’ Blends.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Early Espresso card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the peek at the Flowers Fair image on the front…
…and more of the Wood Grain Wonders DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Isn’t this new Flowers Fair stamp stunning?! I am a bit of a sucker for a background stamp anyway – and this one really makes my heart smile! And the Wood Grain Wonders DSP? Uhm…yes, please! Might as well just get TWO packs when you order it on 3 March!! Or – maybe you’ll join the team in February and pre-order it RIGHT NOW!!! THAT seems like a splendid plan! 😉
