Stampin’ UP! Lovely Sunshine & Tulips Sneak Peek Thank You with Video

Good morning and happy FriYAY!  I hope you’ve had a great week and are maybe heading into some down time for the week before Christmas!  If you’re traveling – be safe, my friends!

My card today is a spring-y little number – a little taste in the midst of the cold and rain and snow – from the new Jan-Apr 2026 Mini!  Front and center is a sweet flower and sentiment from the new Sunshine & Tulips stamp set and it’s backed up by pretty, new Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP – all to make a sweet thank you card.  Take a look-see:

I started with some flowerd-y paper from the new Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP – new in the Jan-Apr 2026 Mini and available on 6 Jan – that I matted on Old Olive cardstock for the card front.

Next, I used the third-from-smallest Textured Notes dies (available right now as an Online Exclusive) to cut out some pretty Peach Pie paper from the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP.  I adhered that die cut to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used the same Textured Notes die to cut out a Basic White rectangle.  Using the petals image from the Sunshine & Tulips set (available on 6 Jan), I stamped the first part of the flower in Peach Pie ink.  Then I added the flower-center image in Lemon Lolly ink.

Using the bullet end of the Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend, I hand-drew a “stem”.

I inked just the “left” leaf on the Sunshine & Tulips stamp in Old Olive ink and stamped it near the top of the stem.  I cleaned the image – and stamped it a few times on scrap paper just to be sure it was all completely clean and dry – then inked just the “right” leaf in Old Olive and stamped it down lower.

Then I adhered the panel to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a 3/4″ wide piece of Peach Pie cardstock, I stamped the Sunshine & Tulips sentiment in Old Olive ink – near the left end of the strip (so that’s it next to the straight-cut).  Using scissors, I snipped an angle in the other end and adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added three Old Olive Moody Palette Glossy Dots – NEW on 6 Jan in the January 2026 Online Exclusives Release – in the bottom corner.  Then, using the bullet end of the Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blend, I added doodle-dots around the flower and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second Sunshine & Tulips sentiment in Old Olive ink on a Basic White panel.  Across the bottom, I stamped the Sunshine & Tulips line of flowers twice in Peach Pie ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Peach Pie card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Sunshine & Tulips flower in Peach Pie, Lemon Lolly and Old Olive on the front…

…and more of the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et voila!  It’s Spring on a card, isn’t it?!  That tulip from the Sunshine & Tulips set coordinates perfectly with the posy-strewn paper from the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP. And they weren’t even PLANNED to go together!  BOOM!  I know you’re excited for 6 Jan to roll around – heck, I’m excited FOR you! 😉

Such a pretty card! Love the spring colors and flowers! If it was pumpkin pie…I’d be all in. Plain pumpkin…not so much! 😂
