Stampin’ UP! Merry Pine Tree Trimmings Christmas Card with Video Tutorial

Good morning and happy Sunday, y’all! Hope the weekend is going well!  I DID actually get some baking done yesterday and will do some more today – working around our December Inkin’ Krew Team Meeting today!  So – busy – but fun! – day ahead for me!

I’ve got the last in my Twelve Saturday’s before Christmas series for you today.  As a schedule note – this will be my final Christmas video card – it’s a couple Saturday’s short of twelve – but…I think y’all must be done with your cards already!  Am I right!?  I’ll re-think the timing on this series for 2026 – try to get it in earlier so that’s it’s a little more helpful to you!

But – in the vein of…it’s getting close and you need to have your cards done – today’s is a quick and easy little card.  It features the wonderful Merry Christmas stamp set (which is on the Last Chance list – and discounted!) and the Pine Tree Trimmings stamp set.  And a little embossing….take a look-see:

The woodsy Christmas theme was thanks in part to the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge photo this week!

This one is quick and easy – and doesn’t have a lot of layers.  So – it’s a great one if you need to make a few to mail!  One of my teammates – Merritt Prater-Lane made a similar card – and I loved it so much I needed to make my own version! 🙂

I started by stamping the big, beautiful Merry Christmas stamp in Cajun Craze in the top portion of a Basic Beige panel.

Across the bottom, I stamped the Online Exclusive Pine Tree Trimmings tree in Mossy Meadow ink.  Some are full strength and some stamped-off-once!

Near the sentiment, I stamped the star from Pine Tree Trimmings in Crushed Curry ink.

I embossed the panel in the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.  Then I adhered it to a Cajun Craze mat with Liquid Glue – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from Pine Tree Trimmings in Cajun Craze on a Basic Beige panel.  I added the Pine Tree Trimmings trees in Mossy Meadow and the star in Crushed Curry.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of a Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got Pine Tree Trimmings trees and stars on the front…

…and a single star on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  Well – I love BOTH of these stamp sets!  I’m really sorry Merry Christmas is leaving us – the good news is that there’s still time for YOU to get it – and on sale, too!  Pine Tree Trimmings has such pretty tree images and handy holiday sentiments – it’s a great one to have on hand!  And – of course, the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder is a perennial favorite – I love it – and reach for it a lot! 🙂
