Stampin’ UP! Greenery Lane Sneak Peek Front Flap Thank You with Video for Creative Creases #110

Happy Fri-YAY!!  I don’t know what y’all have planned but…I’ve got cookie-making on my list for today and the weekend!  Got to get the mail-out cookies ready to go!! I’ve got a batch of biscotti done – three more to go (they’re really popular!) and two batches of Soft Molasses cookies (my personal faves!) ready to bake up today.  Fingers crossed I get them done!!

I’ve got a sneak peek card for you today – featuring a new bundle in the Jan-Apr 2026 Mini Catalog – available on 6 Jan 2026!  It’s the Greenery Lane bundle – and the coordinating Washi Tape of the same name! I used them both to make a cool – and beautiful (she says modestly) – fun fold card for you today! Take a look-see:

You’ll see this card – along with the other Design Team members’ cards –  at this month’s Creative Creases Challenge! 😎 We’re ALWAYS wanting to see pretty fun folds so…I hope hope hope you’ll make one (or three!) and come share them with us! 🙂

I started with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock that I scored at 4 1/4″.  Using a Paper Trimmer – I cut at 1″ from the top to the 4 1/4” score line at 1″ from the right side and left sides.

That cut side is the front of the card – in case it wasn’t obvious!

Using one of the small leaves – and a small flower – from the Greenery Lane stamp set – both on the same acrylic block at the same time – I stamped all over the 1″ wide strips in Pretty Peacock ink.

Then, using Liquid Glue, I adhered the two strips to the back of the card base.

I adhered a piece of the Greenery Lane Washi Tape to a piece of Basic White cardstock – and then cut the panel down to 3 1/4″ x 4″.  I matted it on Lost Lagoon for the card front.

I wrapped Linen Thread around the card front three times – adhering it in the back with Glue Dots.  I tied a bow around the thread on the right side.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large Greenery Lane leaf image in Lost Lagoon ink, and the small leaf (the same one I used on the card front strips) twice in Pretty Peacock ink.  Then I cut them out with their coordinating dies in the bundled die set.  I also cut out a pretty leaf from Berry Burst cardstock.

I colored the small leaves with the Light Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends – and the little berries with the Light Berry Burst Stampin’ Blend.

Using Liquid Glue – I adhered the leaves to the card front – tucking them under the Linen Thread.

I stamped the Greenery Lane sentiment in Garden Green on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  I cut it out with a Stylish Shapes banner die and adhered it over the thread – and the bow – with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added three new Sparkle Dot Essentials in Garden Green.  Then I adhered the panel to the front of the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the large leaf image from Greenery Lane in Lost Lagoon on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  I added the little flower – the same one I used on the front of the card base – a few times in Berry Burst ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Lost Lagoon mat and then into the card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Greenery Lane leaves and flower on the front…

…and stamped the small leaf in Pretty Peacock – coloring it with the Light Lost Lagoon and Berry Burst Stampin’ Blends – on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This Greenery Lane bundle is one you might sorta miss on your first pass thru the catalog – it’s on page 56, FYI – so be sure to go back and take a look.  Then add it – and the coordinating Greenery Lane Washi Tape – to your shopping list for 6 Jan (or…you know – join the team today and add it to your Starter Kit or buy it with your 20% Demonstrator Discount!).

Finn Fan Fix

Yes – she knew I was annoyed with her – she’d been under my feet all afternoon in the kitchen.  I send her out – she goes.  Casting looks at me back over her shoulder – pretty sure they indicate the so-sorry-state of her life right now.

Two minutes later – she’s BACK – on the OTHER side of the island – like…maybe I won’t notice her.

Which – I sometimes don’t.  For a minute.

Then – I do.

And – I’m not proud of it but…I hollered at her to get out FROM UNDER MY DANGED FEET!  She’s not going to like it if her primary care giver breaks a hip falling over her.

So.  She did. While taking the opportunity to point out that FINN was ALSO in the kitchen.

Valid.

Such a pretty card! Love the fun fold design and that Washi tape is so pretty! Poor girl…she (and Finn too!) were just trying to help…or maybe clean up anything that accidentally hit the floor. 😉

    • stampsnlingers

yes – I ought to be calling them Roomba and Mini Roomba!! Thanks so much, Amy! 🙂

  2. Great card, Mary, but Addy Lu stole the show. The pic of her under The Man is precious. Sorry I missed you live yesterday. I’ve had company for three weeks and I don’t know what day it is. I was all mixed up about the CNCK meeting too so I missed that because I hadn’t read my email or FB. I’ll be back to normal (whatever that is) this Sunday. I did go to the mail box yesterday and needed everything I found…thank you. I’m grateful to be part of your team.

    • stampsnlingers

Not a worry, my friend – glad you’re okay and hope you enjoyed your company!! And glad you liked the things! I am very happy you’re on my team, too! 🙂 Happy Stamping and Merry Christmas!

Boy, does that bring back memories! 😀 And I bet you were making your Mom’s cookies. Makes you a little touchy. That brings back memories also. Sometimes life is hard. I’m hoping you don’t break your dang hip and I just want to tell you that I enjoy your videos immensely and your great sense of humor. And the card is lovely. I hope you, Wayne, Finn and Addy have a wonderful holiday. 🎄

  6. Carrie Sheridan

Such a beautiful card, Mary! I love that color palette! And that washi tape is gorgeous! I didn’t realize at first it was washi tape for that front card panel! Your dogs are adorable! I try to keep my 148-pound Great Dane out of my kitchen when I’m working, too. He’s too big to trip over, but he takes up a lot of space! Have a wonderful Christmas!

    • stampsnlingers

LOL – I bet he DOES take up a fair amount of real estate!! That’s a big boy!! Thanks so much, Carrie! 🙂

  7. Debbie M
