Morning, y’all – on the last day of September!! The year is winding down FAST! Wow!
Today’s card is a thank you /Christmas card. Hmmm. How did I do that?! Well – I combined some sentiments from the Gift of Joy stamp set (one you MIGHT have missed in the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog!). Then the sentiments worked with the cute little images and…well. Take a look-see:
See? Thank You. Christmas! 🤷♀️
I started with a piece of Pool Party North Pole Delivery DSP that I matted on Secret Sea cardstock for the card front. Using some Stampin’ Seal+, I adhered a length of Misty Moonlight & Silver Edged 1/2″ Ribbon.
I used the next-to-smallest square Stylish Shapes die to cut out 6 Basic White squares. On them, I stamped all the Gift of Joy outline images in Secret Sea ink.
All the little images are two-step so….I stamped the fill images in Pool Party ink for the stocking (one is full strength and the other in stamped-off-once ink), Daffodil Delight and Bubble Bath for the gifts and ornaments.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals I adhered all the little squares onto the card front – making them a little bit crookedy.
On a piece of Pool Party cardstock, I stamped the Gift of Joy sentiment in Secret Sea ink and cut it out with the Stylish Shapes banner die.
I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Pool Party Dear Dots and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second Gift of Joy sentiment in Secret Sea ink on a Basic White panel. Next to it, I stamped the little gifts in Secret Sea, Daffodil Delight and Bubble Bath inks!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pool Party card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Gift of Joy presents on the front…
…and more of the North Pole Delivery DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! So – thank you card? Christmas Card? Christmas thank you? I dunno – but whatever you call it – you ALSO have to call it CUTE! The Gift of Joy stamp set is really nice – love the images and love the sentiments! But – it’s a bit of a flyover -so…go back and take another look! Hint: it’s on page 55 in the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini!
