Stampin’ UP! Branching Out Traditions of Christmas Card

Morning, y’all – welcome back to the week!  Hope it’s a good one for all y’all!

My card today puts pine boughs front and center – from the new Branching Out Bundle!  Along with the stamped boughs – this bundle also includes a DIE CUT bough and some truly amazing nested label dies!  I put all of it atop a piece of Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP.  Tale a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

I did a quick video on how to make this pretty card, which is posted on Instagram.  If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!

I started by using Liquid Glue to adhere a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Secret Sea cardstock to create the card front.

Then, I used the next-to-largest Branching Out label die to cut from a piece of Secret Sea cardstock and the second-from-largest Branching Out die (that’s the next smallest die) to cut out a Basic White label.

I stamped the largest branch image from Branching Out in Pecan Pie ink.  Using the single pine frond (??) image in the set, I stamped a bunch of them in Shaded Spruce ink.

Finally, I stamped a bunch of pine cones in Pecan Pie ink.

I adhered the white panel to the Secret Sea die cut mat with Stampin’ Dimensionals – and then adhered the whole thing to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used Stampin’ Seal + to adhere a loop-d-loop bow of Irregular Weave 3/8″ Trim.

I stamped a Branching Out sentiment in Secret Sea ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it over the bow – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Branching Out sentiment in Secret Sea ink on a Basic White panel.  In the corner, I stamped the branch in Pecan Pie ink, the single frond a few times in Shaded Spruce and more pinecones in Pecan Pie ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pecan Pie card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the pine bough on the front…

…and more Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The Branching Out bundle was top of my list from the first time I saw it – it has ALL the things for me!  Pine boughs and cones – stamps AND dies! – plus those nesting label dies!  It’s the bomb-diggity!!  And the Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP has beautiful, foiled designs on one side and quieter, more “neutral” designs on the other side!  Sooo pretty!

And she’s just busy helping…no one else can fit under there like she can. So she’s taking care of business under the bin. 😉
